We use Tegra Medical for their nitinol mandrels that we use for welding. They work well, but you can get the material anywhere. A good source to look into though, as they have good customer service and can turn parts around quickly.
Strengths: Good quality

We looked into Ulbrich when we were trying to get a secondary supplier, however, they didn't impress enough with the tensile strengths and heat forming properties of their nitinol, so we moved on. Good customer service though

All engineers and many technicians utilize SolidWorks for product/tooling design. There is no way we could operate without this programming. The program allows for almost anybody to learn how to use it rather quickly.

We use NAMSA for all of our biocompatibility testing. They really are super convenient and work so well for a company that is trying to validate their product. It'd be hard to imagine doing work without their assistance.
Strengths: Quick,

We've used Peridot for for machined copper plates. We were less than impressed with the tolerances that we asked them to hold. We ended up mix matching them so they'd fit together. It worked okay for the time we were developing a process.
Strengths: cheap
Needs to improve: long lead time
We utilize Logitech's wireless mice. They are great in conference rooms and often get ordered with rechargeable stations so you don't have to fuss with batteries. I enjoy the mouse setup and are a lifesaver when doing presentations.

We primarily use PCs, however many of our VPs and other executives have opted for iMacs and very much enjoy the interface. Another advantage is that they rarely have problems with viruses and the like. I personally enjoy my iPhone 5s and would definitely consider an Apple product for my next laptop purchase.
Strengths: Supreme Quality, great interface
Needs to improve: not as compatible with Windows programs
Most of our engineers and technicians have Craftsman sets of tools and like the kits they offer. I'd say we primarily utilize this brand and are happy with them.
Strengths: quality, wide variety of tooling
Needs to improve: none
Our conference rooms are equipped with large screens that are hooked up to computers. The quality is sharp and never fails. I believe we got good deals too. Can't complain!
Strengths: great product

We set up an account with Staples for all of our basic office needs: paper, binder clips, folders, etc. We have also utilized them for snacks and drinks which they offer through the website. We will continue using them. They offer a price-friendly list of supplies.
Strengths: wide variety of supplies, cheap

Superior hand measuring tools, specifically calipers. All engineers and technicians are equipped with these. I couldn't imagine not having them available on a day-to-day basis. Excellent quality and easy to use

We utilize our Instron every single day, primarily for tensile testing. We validate our parts and training units with it. I can't imagine operating without it. Honestly, a must-have in medical device arena
Strengths: Super accurate, relative ease of use
Needs to improve: a bit clunky and software could use a refresh

We use Nikon lenses for our microscopes. The quality is one of the best and are relatively inexpensive considering how much use you get out of them. However, getting them in-house takes a while. Best bet is to order extra in case lenses break or go missing
Strengths: quality parts
Needs to improve: takes a long time to receive parts
We predominantly used Home Depot when we were creating storage boxes, long containers, and other random needs as we grew from a startup to a medium sized company. We still carry a store card and use it from time to time for random items, but they came in very handy in the beginning
Strengths: variety of products, quality

We use our Druck pressure gauge to control our argon gas output on the production line. The unit is solid and very accurate and reliable, however, I wish they'd offer kits that run off an outlet power source as opposed to changing out the batteries all the time
Strengths: good quality
Needs to improve: eats up battery quickly
We use a few Dremel hand grinders to help machine our stainless steel coils. They work well for our needs and we have no complaints. They are still being used after 3 years of use and we only change out the grinding disks from time to time.
Strengths: Good product quality
Needs to improve: none

We've only used DHL for shipments to Australia, but it proved to be a bit of a pain. Their website and ways about scheduling a package can be very involved and confusing. My preference is FedEx if I can.
Strengths: reliability
Needs to improve: confusing internet interface
We use primarily FedEx, and occasionally UPS for our shipping. We are pleased with their convenient pick up times and deliveries. We see no need to utilize any other courier or shipping services.
Strengths: Reliable, convenient
Needs to improve: None
Although we primarily use FedEx, UPS serves as an equal and is just as reliable. I feel just as comfortable shipping important stuff through FedEx knowing that it will be delivered on time.
Strengths: Convenient, reliable
