Our R&D department use OT Precision to prototype out fixtures for testing and process improvement tooling.. They manufacture small medical component machined parts for our prototyping projects. Their engineered assistance support very good and responsive. Their pricing is competitive and they have reliable services. Their quality is very good..

Strengths: OT can deliver high quality fixture prototypes. Competitive pricing. It is local shop for us to drop off and pick up. Knowledgeable engineering team.

Needs to improve: None

I've purchased and used their stent crimpers recently and was a little disappointed at what we got for the price. We got what we needed that just that it is cheaper just using portable crimpers. If you don't get the right customer service, it may be hard to understand what they offer.

Strengths: Quality variety of testers and process improvement solutions are available. Helpful customer service if you get the right one.

Needs to improve: Some system/machines are complicated, make sure that customer service knows exactly what you want. Expensive testers.

We used multimeter from Fluke. They are durable and affordable I had contacted them once for the accessories and customer service explain well on what and where I need to get.

Strengths: High quality multimeter. Good pricing. Good customer service.

Needs to improve: None

Dynatek tested out product for heart valve. They offer discounts from 15% to 60% for the services and products in stock. It is a big help for a start up company. The testing completed on time. The report came in a little later than estimated but not a big deal for the price and quality work that they can offer.

Strengths: Good work for heart valve testing for our project. Only company offer discounts for their services and in stock silicone products.

Needs to improve: none

We ordered small and thin wall silicone molding in different sizes in mm for bench testing models. The quality is super and meet our expectation. Just that it is really costly for custom molding and lead time is quite long, but if you need a quality and almost precise silicone molding then go for it.

Strengths: High quality silicone molding. Helpful and friendly customer service.

Needs to improve: Long lead time and pricy

We ordered half sizes PTFE coated mandrel to stock up on shelf. All order came in one time and meet our specification.

Strengths: Quality PTFE coated mandrel. Competitive pricing and on time.

Needs to improve: None

Farlow makes custom glass model for our bench/lab testing. We demand think wall and in mm sizes glasses and they can deliver with no problem. They offer reasonable pricing and decent lead time. We use them every now and then for a small quantities and they have no issue about that.

Strengths: Quality almost precise glass blowing work. Understand customer needs. Reasonable pricing.

Needs to improve: Not so far

They have variety of packaging tests for packaging validation. they also offer heat chambers to perform accelerated shelf life conditioning. Testing and data are reliable and easy to communicate with the customer service. Only thing is take a while to get back the report and off course they want to be thorough and precise on the report.

Strengths: Reliable packaging testing. Reasonable pricing.

Needs to improve: Took a little long for report

We contracted them with one of our balloon projects. They are very responsible. The only thing stopping from long term contact with them is the pricing. We ended up making our own balloon in house. I would recommend to use them if the project is funded well.

Strengths: Friendly and knowledgeable engineering team. Expert in balloon making.

Needs to improve: Pricing is high for balloon making contract.

We have ordered custom thin wall stainless steel tubing. Customer service is helpful and we got the order on time. When we ordered standard in stock stainless steel tubing, it talks a while to get a quotation and just OK customer service this time around. We got the tubing on time.

Strengths: Great custom and in stock stainless tubing. Competitive pricing.

Needs to improve: Just Ok customer service.

We bought 5 monitors for our lab to connect with our visual/scope system. As everyone knows very easy to return the item and they have the cheapest price tag. The quality is very reasonable.

Strengths: Reasonable monitor for our video system. Easy return.

Needs to improve: Long time during lunch time.

Even though buying on line is cheaper, we buy a lot of our video system accessories and batteries because most of the time we need them right away and one of the Fry's is less than 1 mile from us. Most of the time customer service is helpful and the check out lines are reasonable.

Strengths: Convenient electronic store. Variety computer accessories and video system. Helpful customer most of the time.

Needs to improve: Some price tags are over price compare to other online store.

I had got coil dispensers sample easily through online and got them the next week. We also order luers, connectors and clips from them. They have very decent pricing for the quality they got. The shipment came on time as per quotation.

Strengths: Easy to get coil dispensers samples. Competitive pricing for luers, connectors and clips. Faster shipment can be requested.

We had order custom PTFE mandrel coating for our tooling. We just ordered minimum quantity and customer service help us to get the right service regardless of order quantity. Lead time can be long. It is also expensive since we ordered for minimum quantity and it was a custom work so as we expected in advance. I will still recommend it because of their quality of work.

Strengths: Quality mandrel custom coating. Knowledgeable customer service with useful advises.

They are our main supplier for R&D and Production for Flux and solder. Although they are a little more expensive than other leading company, we have a piece of mind ordering from them because of reliable in shipping chemical safe and with complete MSDS and always on time.

Strengths: Great soldering fluxes and solder. Chemical is shipped safe and with MSDs.

Needs to improve: Pricing can be a little more than other competitors.

We ordered from Vascotube as a second source of vendor for our Nitinol tubings. They can hold tight tolerance and we hardly had any issue with their work. We don't order as much as we want because of longer lead time and hard to get an overnight shipment.

Strengths: The greatest quality of Nitinol tubing. Fast response customer service. Pricing is OK

Needs to improve: Shipping time can get long because of we are the other side of country

We had ordered marker band. Medelec capable of making thin wall custom for our R&D group. Even though we don't use them currently, highly recommended to use Medelec for custom marker band.

Strengths: Excellent quality marker bands. Experienced Eng. group to help us meet our spec.

Needs to improve: Long lead time and expensive.

We had a few of their Laser Mic, OD measurement system. They are older model and just turn on/off and very easy to use it. I just called them to add another one because of older model I couldn't locate in their website. Customer service is patient and helpful finding me one that I needed to order.

Strengths: Easy to operate laser mic. OD measurement system. They offer competitive pricing. Easy to communicate with customer service

Needs to improve: None

We have older units refurbished by them l. Good machines fro medical device stiffness testing. Customer service was helpful and kept us well informed on the status of our order. Easy to deal with. The only thing is lead time long for replacement parts order.

Strengths: Good stiffness tester. Nice and helpful customer service.

We ordered silicone tubing and sheets for our products.Their customer service is excellent and always willing to help out when in need.Overall they provide a great service and I wouldn't have any trouble recommending them to others.
