We've had to have several of our molds repaired due to prolonged use. A&S was able to repair our mold thereby saving us time and money. Their staff was able to walk us through the repair process and put us at ease. We were very concerned that we would have to stop production. A&S got us back up and running is a reasonable time. We couldn't be happier. I am sure that customer service is great but we have not had to use them.

Accumold has done some good work for us lately. They use many medical grade injection molding materials. Highly detailed parts are not difficult for them to manufacture. They deliver on time for the most part had have met all of our specifications. Customer service is easy to deal with. The sales team has years of experience and can offer valuable tips on design to reduce cost.

Biomedical is a great source for medical grade textiles. They offer a wide range of materials and can tailor their product to your specific application. Pricing could be better but their products are high in quality. Not very many companies can do what they do. Knowledgeable staff can make recommendations but in the end, you have to perform a lot of performance testing. We have not had any issues.

Foam has done a great job designing packaging foam for our equipment. The're designers came up with great solutions to insure that our equipment could withstand the rigors of transportation. The sales staff have years of experience and the business is family owned and operated. Personalized service is the norm. Customer service is quick to respond if any issues arise.

We've used Mr Plastics to fabricate some enclosures for equipment in our R&D Dept. They have come through for us when others have failed (TAP). They offer cut to size parts too and are very versatile and are willing to go the extra mile to get the job done. Customer service is great. Ordering is quick and easy. We are totally satisfied with the work that they have done for us.

We recently had to source another vendor for EDM work. Absolute stepped up and has done a good job for us. Very detailed oriented and great communication makes it an easy company to work with. So far our jobs have been acceptable and have been completed on time. Pricing is ok and can be better. Overall we are happy and will continue to use their services. We have not encountered any issues so far.

We've used Doerksen for outsourcing our smaller production builds. It's been less than two months since we started working with them. So far they have exceeded our expectations. They have delivered the inital lots on time and to spec. We have not had any quality issues as of yet. Management is very collaborative and has worked well with us to date. Pricing is cost effective and has allowed us to free up our resources for other production builds.

We recently found Hub Assoc. They did some custom sheet metal fabrication for us and we were quite pleased. They do offer other services but we have yet to used them. Hub did a good job fabricating custom trays out of sheet metal. They're staff completed the job ahead of schedule so we were pleasantly surprised. Was it because they wanted our business? Who knows, but we'll be using them again for future work.

Strengths: Fast turns, competitive prices

We've used Phillips for outsourcing our design work. They have years of experience and plenty of engineering support. We have had a positive experience and have never had any issues with the work they have done. Their expert staff keeps on top of the project throughout the development phase and is very efficient. Our projects have gone smoothly and have met our timeline goals. They have done quality work for us and continue to do so. Highly recommended.

The only room for improvement would be on cost.

Top Tool has been a great company to work with. They have been very creative and have offered up some great ideas on design. They offer low cost prototyping and pay attention to the details. they are experts in material and have provided valuable input on material selection based on our application. Nothing but good things to say about Top Tool except that this comes at a a cost. Not really a negative but you get what you pay for. we have been extremely satisfied with the work that has been provided.

we have ordered ROHS compliant parts from Pomona. They offer a good selection of products. Customer service is very responsive. The Sales group is helpful in sourcing the right part to meet you needs. They have been quick to answer all of my inquiries and have educated me on certain standards that I was not aware of. Parts are usually shipped out the same day if in stock. Easy ordering process. So far so good.

We've ordered fasteners from NATCO. They have a good selection of parts to choose from. Although they carry mostly construction based products, you can find good cheap parts for lab work and equipment. Parts are usually in stock. Customer service is so so. Nothing special, NATCO is good to have around when you need building fasteners.

Plastikon has manufactured custom containers for us. They have good resources to adequately deliver products on time. Their Sales group is very competent and will work with you to come to a design that will meet your needs. Parts are made to spec and are of high quality. The staff keeps you well informed throughout the process. Pricing can be costly so plan your budget accordingly.

Swagelok has all the connectors that a lab would ever need. Parts are made of high quality and are easy to use. Parts are shipped out fast. Sales and Customer service staff have been extremely helpful in find in the right products to meet our needs. The products are easy to use and come in a huge variety to meet you needs. Pricing is competitive and volume pricing is available. I have never had any issues with Swagelok...highly recommended.

We have purchased liquid crystal displays from OSI and have never been disappointed. They have been a good supplier and have provided excellent service after the sale. Their sales group is excellent in finding solutions and have often times found great alternatives that have saved us time and money during product development. This is key when it comes to staying on track. Volume pricing is available. We have never been let down to date.

We've gone to Fast Forward in the past for braided shaft assemblies. They have done a good job getting our parts to us on time. Parts are received and for the most part meet our specifications. The engineers are very thorough and are very responsive. They keep us well informed of any potential issues that may arise and seem to be one step ahead. All in all they have have been a good supplier.

I believe they may have been acquired by Vention so I hope their quality does not drop off.

Lamek has done machining to create part castings. Very detail oriented and delivers on time. Very professional staff. The machinists know their stuff and can recommend cheaper alternatives in order to save time and material. This however does come at a price. You get what you pay for as they say. Pricing could be better but all in all we have been very happy with the work that has been performed. Customer service provides updates on job status so there are never any surprises.

We've ordered many DC brushless motors from Maxon. Solid build quality that has good reliability. Sales staff is very helpful in finding the right product for your applications. Pricing can be expensive but the reps can usually get a good deal on volume orders. Fast turns on in-stock products. Items come with good documentation and decent warranties. Customer service is very responsive when it comes to returns.

Air-Tite is a good supplier for syringes and sharps containers. Customer service is knowledgeable and is quick to answer inquiries. Products that are in-stock ship fast. Quick turns on non-stocked items. Ordering is a breeze. Air Tite carries standard syringes, sharps containers, etc for lab use. Good supplier with good service.

We worked with Advanced on several catheter projects. They offer turnkey assemblies and have a good staff. Customer service is good and products have been delivered on time. Staff is very professional and is willing to go the extra mile to get you what you need and works diligently to meet critical product requirements. We have never had any issues with AdvancedCath. Thumbs up.
