Cardone Industries

Cardone industries is one of the available suppliers I keep a contract with. We do not generally use them as our prime supplier, but have gone with them after we cannot receive prime suppliers orders ontime. Their products claim to be OEM, but often, we see parts with "Made in China" and do not have any guarantee they meet OEM requirements. Overall, their performance is decent and the parts fit up ok. We have had parts which were not placed in the proper box and mis labeled. This resulted in additional downtime and the need to take one of our employees offline in order to return the part and get the proper replacement.

Strengths: Reasonable prices, relatively wide range of parts carried. Good availability. Rapid acquisition of parts. Usually overnight delivery.

Needs to improve: Some parts are Chinese made and have questionable quality. Have found parts to be the wrong item ordered or parts misnumbered. Online ordering not always representative of actual part, so you don't know what you may be getting.

Great to get parts from.

Strengths: Cardone Industries supplies re-manufactured replacement parts for the automotive repair industry. They have a great selection of many of the needed repair parts available, such as fully loaded brake calipers, replacement cv axels, brake drums and disc, etc They are very economical, have a great return policy and have an excellent reference site online to locate the right part. Many times, a re-manufactured part performs as well as new for a fraction of the cost. Cardone seems to have a great portion of this segment of the industry. What is great to know is they use factory OE cores for the basis of their products. This way, the product performs as expected.

Needs to improve: For exotic, high performance and low production vehicles, Cardone does not have a business presence.
