Corel Corporation Reviews

Much better fitted for companies w/o extensive design needs

our graphic design team still uses Corel for specific projects that this software can handle better than adobe. While adobe is our preferred and the system we use 90% of the time, corel does add some small areas of expertise that our design team has been using them for. the results are still great and the resolution are high. it is however much better fitted software for a smaller company or one that does not have a design heavy department as the software is unable to handle complicated signals

Strengths: web design, easy to use software, integrates well into other systems, entry level clients will find this most useful

Needs to improve: none

Simple to make your images look brilliant

Corel is very easy to use. I use Corel to edit the professional photos taken for our catalogue, not being very good with photo editing, Corel makes it easy and my images look amazing. I've tried other but they were too complicated.

Strengths: -easy interface
-simple tools
-easy to use

Needs to improve: The one thing that makes it a little uneasy to use is the speed, the software seems to be very slow. I would try and navigate around the image I am editing and it just moves so slow.

ok software

prefer adobe and ms office software packages. corel is kind of a red headed step child in that sense of that area of software

Strengths: none

Needs to improve: middle of the road

Meh...use Adobe instead

I used Corel products back in my graphic design days. They have definitely fallen off the pole position and are not the graphical powerhouse that they used to be. Much better software packages are out there

Strengths: drawing software, graohics

Needs to improve: Not a leader in software like they used to be

Decent graphic software

I have used Corel Draw at work before and all I can tell is that it was a decent graphic designer and photo editor software but it is still behind farther than Adobe in terms of better user interface and features.

Strengths: Decent photo editing software

Needs to improve: Slower than other editor

Great customer service.

Corel is a fantastic software for starters. Good for graphic designers. ..overall an awesome piece of software.

Strengths: Theor products include illustration, design & digital painting, photo editing, digital imaging, video editing and dvd playback. We use Corel to edit photos for our company's catalogs and the results are always good.

None

Strengths: I have used Roxio in the past for burning CDs. It worked well
I have also used COREL draw to design business cards and invitation letters. Great graphics are only possible in COREL. Great stuff.

Needs to improve: Takes too much space on the computer. Slows everything down.

Good Software

Strengths: Roxio and corel draw are both amazing software's. I have been using both for years.

Needs to improve: Takes up a lot of space on the hard drive and their are better drawing programs out there, but they cost more
