Hardinge lathes are standard equipment in most quality machines shops. Every shop I worked in had one of these and if they didn't we went out and got one. No other manual lathe can compare to the precision and durability of a Hardinge lathe.

Harding makes some of the best lathes on the market. They are reliable and always hold a zero. I haven't had a problem with one yet.
