I've ordered various lab supplies from Invitrogen several years ago (mostly lab reagents and various chemicals). They have an online store that makes ordering very easy. The sales staff if friendly and can help you find what you need. Good customer service after the sale. Items were shipped fast

Needs to improve: None that I know of

Invitrogen offers media and cell culture reagents that are consistent and reliable, but the frequent encounter with backorder makes them frustrating to work with. As a result, I’ve had to plan well ahead and order weeks in advance to ensure that we are stocked.

Needs to improve: Frequent Backorder on Products, Costly

I've been using Invirtrogen products for over 5 years. I mainly use their media and other cell culture reagents. Aside from occasional back orders, I have been very happy with the consistency and reliability of their products.

Strengths: Diverse product offerings, Good customer support

Needs to improve: Some items are back-ordered frequently

Quality products; customer service can be weird sometimes.

Strengths: Large catalog of products useful for all sorts of biotech work. Often products are accompanied with good descriptions of their properties, and usage info.

Needs to improve: Their prices are quite a bit high. Shipping is very expensive.
