Strengths: So, why would someone use a toy store for component supply? Well J&M Hobby house is not a simple toys r us. It is this old school, hobby and model shop which you can purchase these great supplies for architectural model making, small part manufacturing and electric servo motors. The guys there are really informative and you can buy just about everything you need. We purchase a significant amount of balsa wood for our modeling operations, but also can by miniature trees and scale people too. Walking into this store is like walking back to the hobby stores of the 1960-1970's.

Needs to improve: Pricey and limited operating hours. Local only. No web presence.

J&M Hobby House is awesome. They carry all the raw materials to make stuff. Not just the prepackaged kits, (they have those too) but the raw components to build what you can imagine. More than just for hobbies, they are great for prototyping. Super friendly staff. Well stocked. You just have to see the place for yourself.

Strengths: A true old school hobby shop with just about anything you might need for mechanical prototyping. All types of raw materials: gears, plastic, controls, bearings, servo motors, remote controls.

We order bearings from J&M Hobby House and it is easy to install. They have the exact fittings for our medical devices. Ordering and shipping process is always on time and fast. They also offer a reasonable price for there product. There customer service is very helpful on solving issues and giving knowledgeable information. Highly recommended.
