Richard (Rick) Meier started the Meier Tool & Engineering in the basement of his home in 1979 as a tool design and die making company. Over the intervening years, the company’s capabilities were progressively broadened to include production and component assembly as well. During the same period, tooling design and die making capabilities have been increased and relegated to supporting our in-house production requirements. Meier currently occupies a dedicated 35,000 square foot, world-class, facility in Anoka, Minnesota near the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area.
Today, Meier is owned by the Cretex Companies, Inc., a privately held, family owned business headquartered in Elk River, Minnesota.

Very good past experience with the staff at Meier. They are very knowledgeable and also very supportive on your project. I have visited their facilities as well and they have very good capabilities and ability to support small and large volume projects.

I just had a quotation from them only. They generate a quotation in a couple of days and they seemed like very responsible team there. We did not place a PO for them due to change in plan.
