SKB Cases

I used SKB for a project where I had to build several kits for a marketing team to promote a product launch in hospitals world wide. The cases I had built were a custom size, I provided a sketch of a multi-tiered insert that would hold an anatomical model, cameras, a display along with a couple of bags of a liquid solution. The cases I received were exactly as I had ordered and fit my parts exactly the way I envisioned. The kits built were received well by marketing and provided them with the tools they needed for a major product launch. Since then we've reused the cases for similar projects and in one case we actually ordered a new insert for an old case from SKB which wasn't a problem.

Strengths: SKB cases is considered an industry leader in the design and manufacture of custom polymer transport cases. They can assist you in designing your custom case any size or shape with inserts to fit your custom parts. The cases are rugged enough for travel but look good enough that you can use them as part of your presentation.

Needs to improve: Depending on the type of case you are seeking, these cases can be extremely costly. Delivery times can also be a bottleneck.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know SKB makes the best cases on the planet. What you might not know is the incredible company dedication to your personal satisfaction that every SKB customer enjoys. These cases rarely break so you probably haven’t seen how SKB’s staff handles it when they do. Somehow one of my many ATA rated card cases became damaged in transit. It probably took a forklift and a rookie operator to damage my case to the point it would not completely latch so I took it in. Baddabing baddaboom…they hand me a brand new case, no questions asked. When they say “UNCONDITIONAL LIFETIME WARRANTY” they mean it. This is the first and only time any of my cases sustained serious damage…the darn things are pretty bulletproof but it’s really nice to know the company stands behind its product and doesn’t find fault with the customer like some other companies I could name. Want a tough case that’ll last you a lifetime. SKB! Everyone else is second best.

As a start up it's important for you to get out there and present your stuff. When we were starting up that's what we did, we had to pack copies of multiple things because we were poor and had no money for fancy cases and boxes. After a few tradeshows we realized we spent way too much on being cautious and could have saved all those costs if we had gotten good boxes to put stuff in. That's where we ended up w/ SKB. After a bunch of research of other companies we saw that SKB had the best products for reasonable prices. Although their prices weren't the cheapest, we know that cheapest isn't necessarily the best or even good. Their products blew us away, but their customer service sold us. Since talking to them we knew we were dealing with something good and a relationship can develop. We made the right decision with these guys, hopefully you will too!

We have purchased high quality plastic cases through SKB for use for many things at our club. The cases are made from the highest quality plastics and last for a very long time. They at SKB can also make most any size case which allows for a great variety in cases and many of are multi-use. Additionally at SKB they have excellent customer service and help you along with every aspect of the ordering, producing, and shipping process. They also have cases that come in extra incredible prices and have custom prices based off the size of your order. They also ship orders to you very quickly. In conclusion I highly, highly recommend them for plastic cases.

My company has been partnering with SKB Cases for the last 6 months. We first contracted them for simple casing for one of our smaller product likes. We were so impressed with the quality of the casings that we shifted more of our major products line casing needs over to SKB. We have contracted with SKB Cases for custom gun cases we use to store our sniper rifles. We need a rugged case which can safely and carefully handle a rifle which needs to perform with pin point accuracy at a moments notice. These cases are often stored in bad to crappy environments, in the back of trunks or in a wooden shed and then called to duty in a very short period of time. SKB cases have done a great job at protecting our weapon systems.

Strengths: Highly rugged, durable cases. Custom and stock sizes. Low humidity environments. Excellent customer service. Great warranty. Confident the items we place inside will come out ok.

Needs to improve: Not cheap. Significant lead time for custom cases.

we reached out to SKB a while ago to create some single lid cases for one of our fragile prototype devices. we ordered a few of their iseries cases which are waterproof, very durable/strong, and dust tight. their products are very customizable but they already have so many sizes, shapes that making custom cases are not necessary. they are very responsive to their clients and their products are very high quality. we still have the few cases we ordered from them and have continued them for other devices without any wear and tear to the cases.

SKB are the casing and boxing experts. I was shocked to see the different levels of quality and features that casings offer. Very impressed with the sturdy waterproof cases which we bought a small batch to test run with a few fragile products we ship overseas. So far, the feedback has been very positive. Overall, they carry all your casing needs and will try to work out a bulk contract with these guys. Very impressed with them so far, and plan to use them further as we grow our business!

We use SKB Cases to protect many of our high value measurement instruments we use in field work. SKB has a huge range of cases that fit everything we need protected. Often, the cases and instruments ride around in the back of a pickup truck over many miles of unpaved roads. We have never lost an instrument in one of these cases. Very happy with their products.

We routinely travel across the US attending and presenting at various tradeshows and conventions. SKB cases offer us a reliable and secure method of transporting all of our POS materials and equipment samples for the presentation. During a lengthy road show, we need to make sure all of our equipment holds up throughout the travel and SKB ensures that. Their customer service is great and addresses all of our concerns immediately. Great products!

We have purchased many of the SKB 3R2216 15 for our training group. When they travle to cities for huge training sessions with doctors, they utilize many of the secure cases for all the equipment needed for the training. Easy to transport and all items are secure and safe.

We used SKB cases to ship product to all different places. The SKB caes provide excellent protection and are very configurable. They are lower cost than some other hardshell cases, but they hold up just the same.
