We order nitinol tubing for a minimum quantity. We order a few sizes with different wall thickness. Most of the tubings meet our specification. One of the sizes with thin wall out of spec but it is still best effort to see what is the range if we are going to order more from them so it was expected. Order came in on time and their pricing are similar to other leading companies.

We stock up standard sizes Stainless steel hypotube. They can deliver fast and on time. Even custom orders have decent lead time. I just wish they would have online order feature for standard sizes order. Thy have competitive pricing.

We sent an order for thermoplastic molding and the work is very impressive. The shipment came just a few days late. It was a quite expensive project but it's worth it because of the quality.

I was asked to purchase a coupld of Dino-Lite AM4815z7l scopes for our bench testing. They are tiny and powerful in light and clearness. We all love the products. Customer service is very helpful to help me exactly what I needed. It is a little pricey but it is worth it because of the quality and huge in benefit.

As a new R&D tech, I am responsible for ordering for the projects. Vention offers different tubing for variety application. I used on line to order most of the common sizes and tubing like Polyimide and heat shrink. It is very easy to order on line. The shipment came on time. So far I haven't had any contacts with customer service.

Indium is our main vendor for solder and fluxes. Chemicals always ship with safe packaging and MSDS. Their pricing is comparable with other vendors.

I like to order precious metal wire from JM although the price is higher than other competitive vendors because of reliable shipment and quality. My contact person different each time I communicate with them, but it is not a big deal because they all are nice and help us to fulfill our needs.

Precision wire makes spring coil for our manufacturing line. The lead time longer when first trying out trail but it gets better as we switch them to a main vendor. We mostly received the order on time and they provide with good quality and meet our expectations.

I had ordered for parylene coated mandrel from Tegra and lead time is long. The product shipped within the lead time frame. They shipped extra and got an email to revise the invoice. The customer service I talked/communicate to is not that nice. She was un patient. The pricing is OK similar to other companies

NDC specialized in process all related to nitinol from selling tubing to process, forming and testing. It is all spread out that purchasing just tubing itself sales force is not strong enough as other vendor like fort wayne. The tubing are good quality though.

We bought a hand full of Leica microscopes to build products and to inspect parts. They maintain good quality. We bought radical eye pieces to go with the scope. Customer service help us choose the right product. The shipment came on time. The price is on the high side but it is worth it to spend on because of the quality.

We contacted Biogeneral's plastic extrusion products. They are our long time vendor and they can support our large demand without any problems. We get parts on time most of the time. At first when we order custom small quantity and it was very expensive but it gets cheaper over time. Customer service is very supportive of any issue we address.

We use Keyence laser OD measurement equipment for our daily in process inspection. It is suitable for parts that are fragile and can't use other contact measurement tools like snap guage and caliper. Very easy and simple to use. Customer support walked through us over the phone when we use them for the first time and it helped to use it properly.

Strengths: Easy to use OD touchless measurement system. Durable, we use it in CER for 2 years, the performance is still the same.

Needs to improve: Expensive but at least it is durable.

We order a few of dremel sets to use one of our production process outside clean room. It makes the job quicker, before we sand by hand. It is durable and easy to order replacement parts.

Strengths: Must have tool for our production process. Affordable and durable.

Heraeus is our main supplier for metal springs for our products. Their products are quality. We get our orders most of the time. Sometimes, if there is any issue arise, they are very co-operative and solve the problems quickly. They listen to their customers and always do their best to ship good products and on time. Highly recommend for either prototyping or manufacturing orders.

We order one tensile tester to replace an older one. It is easy to learn and use. Customer service is very supportive when we have difficulties with their operating system. We are happy with Instron tester, the only thing is the price.

Our production use Nutek for our sterilization services. They are very reliable. If we need something really urgent, we use 4 hours turn around service and it get really expensive, beside that we are happy with them. We almost always get out product back on time. Customer service is very support and informative if they are not sure or if any issue they are having.

Strengths: Very convient location in Bay Area. Highly reliable and on time. Very supportive customer service

Needs to improve: Very pricy for over night or 4 hrs service
