Apple Rubber Products Inc., provided us with O-rings, seals and gaskets. They have high quality rubber products: standard AS568 and ISO 3601 O-Rings, online standardized products, but are able to make customized parts to meet specific requirements. They have an extensive variety of materials: Viton, Nitrile, Ethylene-Propylene, Flurosilicone, Silicone, Neoprene, etc... Their staff of engineers are versed in all their materials and can suggest alternatives as required. As in our case to meet certain chemical requirements that could not be meet by standard materials. Customer service has been helpful in answering questions and placing orders online; they go the extra distance to make sure the customer is taken-care of, team player...

Needs to improve: in the past their response times are a bit slow.

This is a supplier of ours who custom mfg our medical grade elastomer seals for our release system for micro coils. The box usually is in a hospital lap environment and the seal of our box should be reliable. The custom seal component is sent to us for kit set up to mfg the boxes.

Wow these guys are truly the rubber experts. We did not know there were many different tiers of rubber quality and the staff at Apple Rubber was very helpful in helping us identify the right specification for our needs. We ended going with the standard neoprene and silicon materials as they are the most cost effective and offer most value. Very happy with our purchase as the price is competitive given the level of service and high quality of products.

Strengths: Good customer service. They are very responsive to request. They have worked with us for many years to provide information on specific lots of o-rings and chemical composition. They helped us problem shoot an issue that came up. They offer custom lots of products to better maintain chemical consistancy

Needs to improve: Large scale production. Some variation on chemical composition from lot to lot. You might not see this for several years since they make large quantities of each product at once.

Strengths: They are good for large volume production, they generally are more than happy to send samples. They have a large selection of different types of orings to meet your technical requirements.

Needs to improve: We had an issue with the gamma stability of our O-ring. My engineer had a lot of trouble getting information from them. I expected better in-house expertise.

I would recommend them because of the price and helpfulness of the company.

Strengths: Apple Rubber has all sorts of o-rings of different sizes and materials. Their customer service is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

Needs to improve: Their product consistency needs some work. Over the years, some of the o-ring seem to have slightly changed in dimension/fit in our products. But the company was responsive is fixing any changes for us.

Apple Rubber can be very helpful to partner with as you design a critical joint/seal. They ask the right questions to understand your design intent, and they provide you with various options that may work for your application. Overall a very good vendor to work with.

Apple Rubber is one if the many vendors that we us to supply us with our rubber tubing sets that we use in our medical devices. They offer a very strong durable tubing sets that are responsible for our pressurized air and fluid transfer within our devices. In my opinion they offer great products.

I used Apple Rubber Oring on the previous job on the Finished Device and on the Tooling that we use for production. Pretty happy with the Oring that they are provided to use. Also it was nice that they give out the sample kits of Oring with wide range of side and durometers.

Needs to improve: I think their products cost way more than their competitors. I don't have demanding enough applications to know if their o-rings are noticeably better quality to justify the price.

Dependable supplier of miniature seals for some of our medical devices we manufacture that must not get any moisture or dust inside of the unit. These seals assure that for us, We use this vendor often and they are reliable and consistent with deliveries.

Apple has a huge catalog of o-rings and other rubber parts. Which is nice because the last thing you want to have a custom o-ring made! The catalog is very easy to use and ordering was a breeze.
