Armandillo Willy's

As a whole, the experience is really fun and they put on a nice spread. Serving staff is very friendly and helpful. They arrive ontime, with all the necessary gear and make your event very easy to deal with. Their food is consistent and solid. They have a nice smokey taste and the portions are adequate. I have had better and have had worse. They do go out of their way to make sure your event is a success

Strengths: Solid barbeque catering company with a long history in the Silicon Valley. Their brisket and ribs are very tasty and when you have them cater a company function, they are always met with rave reviews. They have a large menu and provide a turn key meal. Authentic pit smoked products with nice taste and large portions. Always a crowd favorite.

Needs to improve: Obviously, BBQ is a very contentious topic in our line of work. I have to say, I have had better BBQ in other regions of the US and and smaller local restaurants, but they do not cater. I am not a super huge fan of their sauces, but they seem to satisfy our clients when we use them. Not as fresh as other local companies, and it seems they finish smoke and cook onsite, but are prepared at a central location. Sides can be hit or miss. Not a cheap party.

My facility will usually have Armandillo Willy's cater our company lunches. They are one of the best around!! Their sauce is very good and its a little sweet and tangy. I prefer the hotter stuff but its all good.

Strengths: Armadillo Willy's IS BBQ!! It is so rib sticking Delicious food! They have a different special every day of the week. The Burgers are just as awesome. Its a great family place

We had a big lunch party in our department and chose this place to cater for our food. I wish their meat could have been more tender but their BBQ sauce tastes good. It's not bad overall but wishing it could have been better for the price that we paid.

We used this place to cater a company celebration of a product launch. There was plenty of food to go around. The quality of the meat was average and nothing to rave about, some of the ribs were dry and just slathered in sauce.

We frequently use Willy's to cater our company lunches and they always do a great job. The barbeque is very tasty and corn bread is the best I have ever had. Additionally, they have very reasonable prices. Unless, you are a vegetarian, I highly recommend Willy's.

We placed a fairly large order for a company event and everyone loved the food. They delivered on time, set up and made sure to bring everything we needed. It was somewhat expensive but well worth it.

Strengths: Nice alternative to standard sandwich lunches.
