we have been ordering motors from BEI for a while nw and have never had any problems with their product until recently a few hundred machines failed in the field due to encoder flag errors due to the motors no being assembled properly. we sent a few back and for BEI to inspect to find the problem but they never found one. they weren't very helpful and our engineering department found the malfunction and are now trying everything to remedy the malfunction. all and all we were not impressed with BEI in production

Strengths: price range, quality, reliability

Needs to improve: shipments sometimes take a little too long and when you need them for productions its not a good thing.

BEI supply us motors for our medical devices. Not the best motors but they are okay for what they charge us.
