Strengths: Blackhawk manufactures military and law enforcement holsters, duty gear and shooting accessories. They come from a military background and their products are battle tested. Our Officer's carry and use Serpa Duty holsters which provide rapid engagement and weapon drawing, but excellent safety and retention. It is one thing to have a fast draw, but often holsters allow for the bad guys to get your weapon. Serpa series holsters automatically lock to a high retention setting so an Officer can holster his weapon and not worry about it being taken away. Blackhawk also provides duty bags, long gun accessories and a myriad of other great products. They have an extensive dealer network an offer great customer support.
Needs to improve: Some of our officers find it difficult to use these holsters and make the transition from their current models.
