Harv's Car Wash

Harv's filled the void left by our poor performing mobile vendor. They provide a great, convenient service and our Officers are able to keep their cars looking clean and professional as a result.

Strengths: When our contracted mobile carwash vendor flaked out on us and we suffered serious quality control problems, I went to a local fixed based operation, Harv's Car Wash. We need to keep our fleet of patrol cars clean to maintain a professional appearance Harv's provided us with a competitive bid, nearly equal pricing and better quality then the old vendor. I entered into a fixed price per vehicle contract and our Officers can get their vehicles washed without any out of pocket expense. They just drive up to the wash station, sign in and the vehicles are washed. The employees are trustworthy, we have never had any items taken and the cars come out very clean. Since Harv's has a location in town, we do not take Officers out of their responsibility area and can keep coverage of our city.

Needs to improve: If the weather is nice and people are getting their cars washed, the wait can be fairly long. There is no preference for contract vehicles. They are a local only vendor, but they have multiple locations in Northern California.
