Heraeus

I worked on a project with Heraeus where they were the manufacturers of a ground wire with several complex features and tight tolerances. Their team worked closely with our team during development and I credit them with resolving some key issues that we had with our design. The Heraeus team was able to accomplish what several other similar companies could not. The quality of their work is exceptional. They always worked with sense of urgency, giving us realistic timelines and always delivering on time.

It was a pleasure to work with these good folks. Everyone from their engineering team to their business development team seemed to be in tuned with what needed to be done. I would definitely do business with Heraeus again.

Strengths: Heraeus manufactures OEM components and devices for the medical device industry. They excel in core wire grinding, coil winding and guide wire assembly/manufacturing.

Needs to improve: There are some limitations to what Heraeus is willing to do. They seem to be less interested in producing complete packaged products. They understand what their core competencies are and wish to focus on those core competencies instead.

My company contracts with Hereaus both in Germany and in Minnesota to supply component parts for our medical devices. The sales team is knowledgeable and always eager to do work for us and frequently flies out to discuss projects face to face to head off issues before they arise. Their product quality is excellent but they at times miss set delivery date deadlines. On a few occasions they missed the date by a few weeks. It requires a lot of following up on our end to make sure our jobs are going to be delivered and customer service can be hard to reach at times.

Heraeus is our main supplier for metal springs for our products. Their products are quality. We get our orders most of the time. Sometimes, if there is any issue arise, they are very co-operative and solve the problems quickly. They listen to their customers and always do their best to ship good products and on time. Highly recommend for either prototyping or manufacturing orders.

I have use Heraeus for platinum wire for many time. They have very friend and nice customer service. They offer good quality platinum. For the first few order, they could deliver on time, but slowly the lead time is getiing longer and sometimes they pushed out the date even further.

Heraeus is a capable custom coil supplier who can deliver coils at your average specifications, but their largest drawback is the piece price. They tend to be higher than others, but the quality is better than most. If cost is an issue, I would not hesitate to look elsewhere.

The company provides excellent quality and can turn around an order fairly quickly. A highly effienct supplier with high quality Coils.

We utilize Heraeus' metal coil springs as a heating element. I cannot emphasis how critical this is to our process. We are thankful that the company provides excellent quality and can turn around an order fairly quickly. We have never had a supplier/quality issue and hope to maintain to healthy relationship.

i have also used them to supply RO markerbands in the past and they have been good quality, although lead times were a bit long.

We do place many POs with this vendor. We have a good relationship and we have high trust in one another. They are reliable and the products are always consistently good quality, The customer relations is excellent.

they produce some excellent quality parts with very good precision and detail. parts are generally a bit more expensive than other vendors, but you do get what you pay for in this case which is exceptional quality.

We get precious metal wire from them We like them for cheaper pricing we are not in rush to receive the wire

Strengths: Cheap fabrication precious metal compare to others. Good customer service.

Needs to improve: Generating quotation could take long. Can't keep delivery date most of the time.

I've used Heraeus for custom wound coils for products to treat stroke and medical guidewires. They have supplied me with production components for a number of products. Quality has been good, though pricing can be higher at low volumes.

They are highly proficient at coil winding, and can make some pretty amazing parts. I feel like they were easier to work with as Vadnais, but the capabilities and quality is still there.

I used them for their compression coils. They make excellent high quality products. They came in exactly to spec and the engineers were exceptionally helpful in spec'ing out what we needed,

I have used Heraeus coils in many products. They were an approved supplier at my last company and provided 50% of the precious metal coils used in our products.

Heraeus can produce some very complicated coils. I have made use of their capabilities for years, and they are generally much choice for the most complicated projects.
