Virtual masking provides a complete paradigm shift for masking medical devices and surgical equipment, prior to coating. By using automated laser systems to ablate the coating from the substrate, we are able to control coating free areas, in both simple and complex geometries, within very tight tolerances. The end result is more uniform and precise then overmolded and injection molded parts.
