Li-Cor Inc

When we came upon the need to have some protein die labeling we turned to Li-Cor Inc as they had come highly recommended. Our experience with them has been equally as good. They are very knowledgeable and are able to help us relieve some of the back up we experience. This way we can focus our employees on the higher level work that makes us a great company. Cost is in line with others in the industry, but they really come through in the service. We will continue to use them for their services.

Great FAS helped us transition to Licor systems and did lots of t.raining with our staff. We appreciate the service and love the reps.

Strengths: Digital film chemiluminescence for western blots allows for more accurate quantitation of protein levels. Relatively clean, no hassel prep and does away with the bulky western apparatus, saving time and getting results faster.

Needs to improve: Weigh the cost of the system with the standard cost of a plain old western blot. Digital film is great but requires an investment in Licor hardware.
