I would NOT recommend this place for any home appliances or for your business. Other than their prices the place sucks.
Strengths: They do nothing good. The only thing that's good about this place is their prices.
Needs to improve: You gotta be kidding me, with this place. I had to ring the bell to summon someone to help me find the right size bolts. That's fine, I get it, but waited ten minutes and in the meantime two employees came behind the counter, ignored me, worked with other customers, and walked away. I was starting to think that I accidentally wore my Harry Potter cloak of invisibility. It's hard to miss me at 6'6 but they managed to. Got my items FINALLY and went to the self-checkout. Bad experience.

For better finishes and aesthetics, lowes offers some pretty nice looking items (lighting, closets, cabinets, etc.). For the more durable, higher quality tools and raw materials, they just don't seem to hold up that great as compared to some of the tools you can get at home depot or sears for large box stores. I usually go to home depot for the hardware, raw materials, and go to lowes to get items that you care about aesthetics and finishes.
asking the staff is useless.....don't' even try to ask about suggestions on how to do something or their thoughts on the quality of this or that....they probably have never picked up a hammer in their lifetime and would somehow lose a finger doing so.....
Strengths: Large box store, Better aesthetic finishes on many of their products than other hardware stores
Needs to improve: The staff that work at lowe's have an iq of 12, somewhere between able to breathe on their own and belonging in a plant display in the home and garden section
Our firm often purchases the necessary power tools and bits from Lowes since it's easy and convenient. Customer service is helpful and the selection is more than enough for us to find anything we need. Quality is the biggest concern as the big box home store carries a number of varying brands. You ultimately get what you pay for. Quick turnarounds as most things are in stock unless it's a doorbuster deal. Reps are helpful but by no means experts. Will continue to visit due to its convenience.
Strengths: location, convenience, wide selection, customer service
Needs to improve: consistency in quality
When we moved to our larger location in concord we had some simple touch ups we could do ourselves without contacting an outside vendor. We got some cheap paint and a few metal clamps right away. Employees directed us right to the correct location.
Strengths: Competitive prices and large inventory
Needs to improve: N/A
The last time I visited Lowe's was to purchase some warehouse supplies for my work. I must say the employees were very helpful and informative
Strengths: Awesome products very competitive
Needs to improve: There can be a lack of customer service
They should be more concerned with their products and less concerned with their ads.
Strengths: Good for tools.
Needs to improve: Didn't appreciate their removing advertising from a religious television show.
Shop e for light fixtures. Store was close by and well organized
Strengths: Plenty of local retail stores to visit, good selection of tools, hardware, electrical and outdoor equipment
Needs to improve: not as cheap as Home Depot
love the distributor not the prices
Strengths: great service with great product
Needs to improve: the price is on the more expensive side compared to other hardware stores
Has been great. I haven't had any problems with them.
Strengths: Had everything you need in terms of hardware.
Needs to improve: None
Dremmel bits, plumbing fittings, lumber, etc.
Strengths: Large selection of tools.
Needs to improve: Limited selection at B&M locations. More selection online.
I use them periodically for vices/fixtures and dremmel tools.
Strengths: Good selection of hardware
Needs to improve: None.
