For over 40 years, Mediflex has been designing and manufacturing uniquely engineered surgical devices used in Operating Rooms throughout the world. Working in close collaboration with famous surgical leaders such as John Bookwalter, MD, Herbert Dardik, MD, Mel Greenberg, MD and others, Mediflex has built an arsenal of surgical devices offering ease-of-use and state-of-the-art performance.

Mediflex's unique innovations starting with its Surgical Flex Arm, Horizontal Flexbar and Segmented Ring technologies, have continued for over four decades. Most recently, we have combined the advantages of our market leading Surgical Holders and Positioning Devices with our Bookler Retractor Rings through the introduction of our new StrongArm Plus support system.

Beginning in 2008, Mediflex took the lead in recognizing that surgeons who perform small incision and neo-natal surgery were in need of a table mounted retractor system providing the same benefits that Dr. Bookwalter's system offered abdominal surgeons. By engineering down-sized Mini-Bookler components and combining the system with our Mediflex StrongArm Holder and Positioner, we have created another unique retractor system offering unparalleled surgical exposure for smaller incisions.
