My firm utilizes OT Precision to customize a design solution for prototype medical devices. We were impressed by their professionalism, ability to produce schematics within a rigorous timeline and ultimately by their delivery of a quality end product. Customer service was decent when we communicated, however communications lagged at times. Their top notch staff offered guidance and insight during the initial steps but dropped off a bit during the process. Will most likely contract again for precision tooling of medical devices.

Strengths: the components and equipment we purchase are for our assembling and some testing on our medical devices and yes when it comes to assembling small components on the line or programs devices in our big machines their equipment are easy to use and great to work with. They also have great deals that you can pick from, great shipping pricing and they have reliable service. Speaking with their customer service reps. they are very helpful and knowledgeable of their product to help completed an accurate order for the company.

We currently use the for our matting and they've machined some custom brackets for our design needs. They always deliver exactly what you ask for, the staff is very helpful and knowledgable which makes for easy business.

Strengths: Great place if your in need of custom machined parts for your assembly design needs. Very helpful and knowledgable staff makes it real easy to do business with them.

We have used OT Precision for prototypes as well as some initial validation runs. The turnaround time was expedient, which helped us shorten our lead times for validations. They were highly capable machining tough features with tight tolerances, meeting our internal PPK requirements. They were receptive to all the demands to meet our quality standards, which made qualifying the vendor easy. Overall, a great machine shop from prototype to production.

I have used OT over the previous couple of years to produce both short run prototype components (10-50 pcs) as well as larger runs for pilot production (500-1000 pcs). OT has machined both plastic and metal parts on a variety of machinery (Swiss Screw, CNC lathe, CNC mill).

OT has also been very helpful in accommodating our extremely tight schedules, regardless of the part size or complexity.

Our firm used OT Precision to create some customer parts for one of our prototypes. They were able to deliver these parts both quickly and with great quality. In dealing with their customer service department in the original spec, they did a wonderful job asking the right probing questions in order to get what we needed. Their great service and products do come at a price though.

I use ot precision to machine some rather small parts and am really impressed by the quality of their products. 90% of the time, there are no issues. In one instance, we were running a prototype and they misread the drawing. Luckily we were not charged for it, and they made replacement parts, but it was a rather straightforward job in my opinion.

OT has been instrumental in keeping our R&D group churning thru design iterations. Their speedy delivery of complicated parts has allowed us to keep on schedule and to quickly refine the design and improve manufacturability. OT is a great bay area resource for machined components.

We used OT precision to supply components during early stages of development. Although they do have good capabilities with their CNC machines, they had issues addressing issues with our small parts. Additionally, their Quality System were not up to par for production use, and thus ultimately had to go elsewhere.
