Strengths: When our department needed to replace 30 year old aging fire engines, I was given the responsibility to develop the bid and contract. My committee looked at many different apparatus vendors including Eone, Beck, and Pierce. Ultimately, we selected Pierce Manufacturing as our vendor. We placed a bid for two engines, one a dedicated city rig and one an off road and city combination. Pierced exceeded our expectations and delivered two fantastic engines. They have great performance, are economical and we have never experienced a break down or malfunction. They flow a huge amount of water an ride very comfortable. I expect at least another 40 years of service from these engines.

Needs to improve: High demand means an long lead time. Price commiserate with qality
