Purchased synthetic arteries for stent delivery testing. Product was on-time and packaged appropriately to slow degradation. From a testing standpoint, silicone proved better, but the lubriciousness and compliance of the synthetic products were better.
Strengths: Can pretty much provide and vasculature or body part made out of synthetic materials that mimic the properties are live tissue
Needs to improve: Some products will degrade over time due to their hydrogel makeup
Most of our products incorporate a great deal of water - which means they must be handled differently than products made by other manufacturers.
