Andy Kohm (CEO) 
Through nearly a decade of conducting R&D in the medical device field, Andy experienced the problem of vendor selection firsthand. He was an early employee at DFINE Inc. where he was vital in developing and leading their product to market. Andy was part of the management team that grew the company to over 100 employees and $30+ million in revenue. As Director of R&D, Andy helped build and lead the R&D department to the successful launch of over 15 products in the US and Europe. Throughout the process, Andy faced the challenges of finding, vetting and qualifying vendors and suppliers. Andy is a serial inventor having 20+ issued patents and over 50 pending patents.
Andy holds a Ph.D. in engineering from Ohio State University and an MBA from The Wharton School. In his spare time, you can find him looking for his ball in the woods at the closest golf course or falling down a mountain with a snowboard strapped to his feet.

David Blado (CTO)
Prior to founding VendOp, David was a technical evangelist on the OpenShift team at Red Hat where he was responsible for spreading OpenShift cheer at developer conferences and assisting developers with their exploration of the OpenShift platform. David built and managed the engineering operations team at deCarta. David got his start in software development working for Nortel Networks, Cadence Design Systems, and eBay.
David holds a B.S. in Management & Information Systems from Clarkson University and an MBA from Clarkson University. David lives with his wife and daughter in the Santa Cruz Mountains and enjoys snowboarding, mountain biking, and brewing his own beer.
