Announcing VendOp Connect – See how you’re connected to potential suppliers

We received a lot of feedback from you, our users, that you would like to be able to see if you know anyone that has actually used the supplier before. We are excited to announce our beta of VendOp Connect (yes, I agree we need a better name). So how does it work?

First off, all of your suppliers are private. You choose who to share the information with. Only people you choose to connect with will be able to see your supplier list. You can add / remove vendors as well as connections at any time.

 

 

 

1. Add companies you have worked with before. Use the add vendor tab to quickly add vendors to your list. You can also add vendors to your list from any search results or by browsing categories.

 

2. Connect with friends and colleagues to share your list and to see theirs. You can add friends the easiest by using our upload your LinkedIn contacts feature. You can also invite people by simply entering their email address.

 

 

3. See the power of your network when you browse or search for a new supplier – you will now see how many connections and who in particular has used the supplier before.

 

 

See ratings and reviews for the supplier as well as be able to know which friend to contact for more information. You can toggle between your personal vendors, connected vendors and our best vendor list. Now you can build your supplier network online and you no longer have to send emails to everyone you know asking for recommendations.
