I've mainly used Peridot for prototyping purposes but they also do production. They have Swiss screw , laser cutting, laser welding, and machining capabilities. I use them for more complex prototyping where local machine shops wouldn't be able to produce the part or assembly for me. Their lead times are longer and they're more expensive than a typical machine shop but they have a good track record for being on time and they can tackle the more difficult jobs. The quality of the parts they produce are very good and they can easily setup small pilot runs.
Strengths: Prototyping, laser cutting, laser welding, machining
Needs to improve: Longer lead time
Great to use when in a crunch and need a local shop. Not for high volume output
Used them on 3 projects. Their powder coating was great. Many different colors to choose from. Tried to use them for other coatings without much success. When we moved to higher volume, their quality became inconsistent from batch to batch.
Strengths: Powder coating and quick turnaround
Needs to improve: Quality at higher volume
