We use ADINA software for finite element analysis. The software is very powerful and allows us to pererform FEA on very complex geometries and stress patterns. The biggest problem with it is that it is very difficult to use and customer support is not always available.
Strengths: ADINA makes very powerful software for finite element analysis and heat transfer analysis of solids and field problems.
Needs to improve: The software is very expensive and because they are a small company, technical support is not always available.
