Aerotek

Aerotek employees have no integrity. They never did what they said they would do. To them I was a highly marketable employee and what they would do is a guy would call me with an offer me a position to come interview for. When I would go to the interview it would be a teenage girl for a different position. After I aced both the phone and face to face interview another guy calls me and would say they are going to get me an interview with the actual company but before even hours have passed or days the guy would contact me again for another different or better position for another company. When I went to the company interview it became clear that the position was not suited for me as I had previously told them that I would like a daytime position with set hours and they sent me to interview for a 24/7 internet company which did not work for me. So they sent me to a short term gig which i did very well(and the company wanted to hire me by themselves, but unlike Aerotek I have integrity and respectfully refused as I was promised a CSR/Tech position a month away) and promoted their reputation and made them and myself look very good. After the gig I was promised an interview for a position a month away which didn't happen and instead was promised another "better" position , and then again a little while later same thing, and then again. By the end when they got me an interview, it was for a position with a very high pay for a job that I did not want to do at a location I did not want to commute to as it was very far from me. I stopped answering their calls at this point (they would have other agents and then supervisors then managers call me to get a hold of me) and found myself a job within a week. Next year (this year) they contacted me again and they had their file on me that was very impressive for them, so they asked me to come to interview for a future position, something I actually wanted. I went to the interview and again it was another teenage girl and she wanted to interview from scratch again and the position she had for me was very different from the position they told and interviewed me on the phone for. My experience with Aerotek was mind boggling and I do not recommend them to anyone.

Strengths: They will call you many times with different offers that never happen.

Needs to improve: They will tell you things that will never happen or are not true.

After speaking with a recruiter we decided to give this company a try and fill a management position. The person they sent us was not only unqualified, we are not even sure of their real name. We did a background check ourselves and found out that the college he had listed as attending had no record of him. When asked about this the gentleman stated that "he had gone to school under a different name completely". Again none of this could be verified. Upon contacting the recruiter regarding this employee he admitted that they had not actually vetted him. We instructed the recruiter that we were releasing the gentleman from employment at our company. We thought this would be the last we would hear from them. Nope, they kept sending us bills for his placement with us. Our contract agreement was that if the person was let go during the contract period we would not owe anything further. Not so much! We called their billing deparment weekly to try and get it cleared up, no one at this company answers their phones and they do not return any messages. We emailed them asking them to call us regarding this individual and our contract to which of course no one replied. Fast forward to 4 months later of us constantly trying to get ahold of someone there, they finally call us wanting money after the contract time had expired. When I spoke with the rep who called us I explained the situation and about our constant attempts to canel the contract, their reply to our situation was to bad. They now expect us to pay them 20K for an employee that we had for 2 weeks before finding out he was not even who he said he was. And even though we had tried multiple times to contact someone there to clear up the contract with no response did not matter. It did not even matter that we had contacted the recruiter and told him that we let the guy go. Evidentally we were supposed to email someone that we did not have a contact information for ourselves and no one there would answer a phone so we could get the process of who to contact. They send you unqualified people then bill you an extreme amount and will not take your calls when you are trying to cancel. I have worked with multiple staffing companies and have never seen anything like this in all my years.

I have worked for them and recommended Aerotek at the companies I have worked for to fill some of our staffing vacancies within the engineering department. They have an abundance of skilled individuals that can fill the needs of engineering as well as support functions within the group: engineers, designers, component engineers, eco analyst, documentation, etc... They candidates from Aerotek are usually able to assimilate quickly, which saves us time with training as we have deadlines to meet and that is our goal - complete certain tasks within our set time constraints. We appreciated their level of experience when it comes to sending individuals who are qualified - their evaluation process is thorough and saves us time. A solid firm and most locations can supply you with the support staff and they can look to other locations, depending on the requirements/needs.

Strengths: skilled individuals - screening process - accurate quotes - quick response for staffing needs

Needs to improve: Tthe individuals in the office can be a bit ridgid and inexperience when it comes to evaluating individuals for specific job functions - don't really know what that entails. They follow set scripts and sometimes that does not work, as everyone is different. Furthermore, will not give a complete description of the task / job until heading for the interview.

This company is THE WORST temp agency I have ever used.
After sending a sub par temp - they argued with me over our final bill. I kept saying I’d have a credit and 5 different customer service people kept saying we owed. So I paid.
Now I have a credit.
5 customer service reps have asked me how I want the credit returned. I always reply to each email only to receive the same email from another rep.
They are terrible at customers service and communication.
I will never use them again.

Before I got absorbed by my company, I was working under Aerotek. My recruiter was very kind and friendly. Whenever I have questions concerning my job, my payroll or whatever questions I have, they will answer meright away detailed and clear. It took them a while though to call me back after my first interview from them. They called me friday, and told me that I could start on monday. Aerotek was the best agency I had so far.

Strengths: Very friendly and kind recruiters, easy to contact and reach, helped me a lot to get my job.

Needs to improve: It will take a while for them to contact you back but, when you call them, they'll answer you right away.

I used Aerotek during a gap in my employment and was able to find temp work within the first week! They are a quality temp/staffing agency that addressed all of my needs and placed me within a very short time. I was a bit concerned given the lack of opportunities but pleasantly surprised. Will gladly use Aerotek again but hopefully won't have to!

Strengths: Client interaction, level of comfort, client service and quick results

Needs to improve: none, although I've heard of some people taking a long time to find an assignment, but that's understandable

Don't waste your time and just call Aerotek if you are looking for skilled industrial/engineers for your facility. They screen their candidates very well and we have hired temp, permanent, and temp to permanent staff members through Aerotek. They do charge a premium, but will save you a ton of money, resources, and time down the line by providing you "turn-key" staff members that require little training that will be accretive to your facilities' needs.

Strengths: They are niche providers of staffing for industrial and engineering companies.

I went to Aerotek and looked for a job. My agent reviewed my resume and interviewed me right away. Two weeks later, they got me a job related to the position I was applying for. My agent from Aerotek was very kind and nice that she answers all of my concerns about my job. Good Staffing Agency.

Strengths: Easy to reach, always answers my question in regards to our job, approachable, got me a job in just two weeks from the day they interviewed me.

We have contracted with aerotek for years now, we have been very lucky to have them as our vendor and we appreciate their business. They have been doing a lot of help with us and our new production. They have very knowledgable staff working with them at all times. they ship fast and have very simple beautiful designs.

Strengths: Great customer service, beautiful designs with wide variety, website is easy to navigate and order from!

They called me a few times when I was looking for work. I never felt that they completely understood who I was and who their customers were. It seemed like they used a check list on calls and it was mechanical and impersonal. Kind of like a forced smile.

I've been contacted for jobs through them. They seem to have a lot longer process then others which puts me off. I've also hired from them, their rates are higher then others

In the past we have hired many people from aerotek. We don't know how they did it but they have managed to find the perfect people for you. Just send them your requirements and they will find it and staff it for you. Some duds obviously but mostly gems in the groups that they send.

My business seeks employees through arotek temp agency all year long. They are very reliable and have great imfirmation and fair agents who treat all employees with great respect.

Strengths: Great agency for those who seek emoyment. Very reliable service who provide employment services for many unemployed people. Very fair in job placement.

I had recently graduated from a tech school and not to soon after that I was placed with Aerotek which found be a job within a short period. Aerotek has done a great job and great customer service.

Strengths: Aerotek is a good staffing agency. Oyr company used them to find full time and temporary employees. They have helped us out a few times and we are still using their services. Their staff is friendly and are okay to do business with.

All in all great staffing agency. They have found numerous assignments in the past without their help I wouldn't of landed a permanent job
