Great customer support and products
Strengths: Taser International produces the only less lethal electronic disabling device on the market. Our department currently has over 150 units in service. When we were purchasing TASER products, I was tasked with the contract and dealt with Joe Drucker, our designated customer sales rep. He was fantastic to work with and we were able to complete our purchase in a day. We purchased 150 TASER devices, 500 replacement cartridges, and 150 replacement power units. The order arrived the next day and everything was properly packaged and the order was complete. BTW, I believe the official name of this company is TASER International. To date, we have over 20 applications of the system and nearly a 100% success rate. This product saves lives.
Needs to improve: Since TASER is the only manufacture of less lethal electronic disabling weapon systems, their products are very expensive. A replacement cartridge is nearly $30.00 apiece and when doing annual qualification with the system, we spend close to $6,000.00 annually.
