Amazon Supply

Been able to find just about anything I need for R&D Engineering, Manufacturing, Sustaining, Service, etc... The pricing is great, due to the amount of their buying power. We can buy supplies, lab supplies, tools, power tools, machine equipment, technical manuals; their is no end to the stuff/equipment you can purchased.

Strengths: If you can think it, you can find it on Amazon. Since it's a market place of vendors, you can find any kind of hardware, tools, power tools, machine tools, etc... We found that they are a great source for lower the overall cost on power tools - volume is so great that they can get almost anything at a reduced cost - great buying power.

Needs to improve: They are so big you can get lost. If there are defects or issue with a product it can be a bit trying to get it fixed or replaced....

I miss Small Parts, but I have to say that the Amazon search is much better, and it is overall easier to find what I am looking for. Throw in use of my existing Prime account, and this is a winner. Just like SPI, Amazon Supply carries a wide range of materials that are useful for prototyping and model making. It is a convenient place to get heat shrink tubing, nitinol wire as well as PTFE coated mandrels. They may not have exactly what you want, and the materials are probably not suited for production, but it's perfect to knocking out a couple of initial prototypes.

Strengths: Amazon Supply is a a supplier of all things needed for your R&D Projects. Everything from metal wires, springs, plastic tubes and components can be found here and with excellent prices. I always check first with Amazon Supply when I need to find special odds and ends for my projects. Their shipping is fast and reliable.

Needs to improve: Limited stock on certain items.

Needs to improve: The catalog is a bit clunky, but navigable. It tries to be like the catalog for McMaster, allowing you to narrow your search by choosing parameters but that is quite clunky. There is no "education material" (telling you how its used, where and when, and sometimes why) about each component as you find in McMaster's catalog.

We gave Amazon Supply a chance and have been very happy with how responsive and convenient the service has been. A wide selection of materials and components to choose from, the level of sophistication of the platform coupled with the dedicated customer service is unparalleled. Great value at competitive rates and ultimately ease of order and efficiency are what really impressed us. Quality vendor.

I was having trouble finding a specific fastener. I turned to Amazon Suppluy and they happened to have it. They are an up and coming supplier. Not yet up to McMaster status yet but I can see the potential. Customer service is excellent. Returns are accepted with no problem. I highly recommend them.

Good supplier ofr lad glass ware, hardwares and microscopes with components. We use this vendor oftne with good customer services and reliable products and deliveries. They just do thing right. Out lab techs like using this vendor.

Amazon Supply is what remains of the Company "Small Part" with the power of Amazon. Variety is similar to McMaster Carr but the search engine is not as easy to use. Delivery is not as fast as McMaster

Small Parts has always been and continues to be a good resource for catheter components during the prototyping phase. Their variety and inventory are unmatched, but that sometimes makes it difficult to find what you want. In any case, still an excellent source for prototyping.

Small Parts was a great company. It was easy to find what you needed. Now as part of Amazon it's search engine is not as good making it hard to find what you need.

we tried Amazon Supply for heat shrink tubing. They delivered! The website is still in Beta stage but is very operational. Lots of supplies and materials to choose from. Similar to McMaster Carr in style. Highly recommended
