Anixter has provided us with quality products on any commodity we have requested within the cable types. Everything arrived and meet the specific specification to a tee. The paper work was always - spot on - no issues. When speaking with their customer service representatives, they were very helpful and if they did not have the answer(s). They took the information and got back to you within a reasonable amount of time - quicker then I expected. Again a great vendor to work with - like your on the same team.

Strengths: Used Anixter as one of the main suppliers for cable and wire; electrical, electronic, security, audio & video and voice and data cable. Their selection is vast, a one stop shop for any cable requirements. They cover the needs across a wide range from security thru telecommunication. The customer service is great, with being able to supply you with data sheets along with samples for evaluation. It makes the engineer's life easier by allowing them to concentrate on the bigger picture and not sweat the small stuff.

Needs to improve: If you call a certain division and are looking for a different commodity, there could be delays with response and getting you the information within a reasonable timeframe. Otherwise, they are a great company for your cabling needs.

Besides centralizing their Customer support they are a great vendor to work with.

Strengths: Anixter is one of our approved suppiler for electronic component, wire, connectors, and misc. parts. Great customer service with a wide selection of products. Deliver lead times will vary depending the commodity.
Depending on what you order, your shipment can be ship from out state and not local. Their customer service representatives are every helpful and knowledgeable of their product to help completed an accurate order for the company. Pricing is very competitive.

Needs to improve: It would be great if they can centralize their customer support. There were times when I was calling customer support and I was transfered mutiple times before I can get to the right department to answer my questions. Anxter has mutiple divisions and each division carries a certain commidity.

We use Anixter for supply electrical components and wires for our assembly line as well as prototype design. They have a wide selection of products to choose from to suit your needs. Their customer staff is very quick to respond to any questions. They are very nice, hard working group, and easy to work with. Their prices are very competitive if you order in large bulk but can be pricey depending on your order size. So far we have not had any issues with quality of their products and we have had great success using them as a vendor. I have no reservations about recommending them to others.

We order Cables from Anixter for our medical devices. They always come in on time and they have a great turnaround time as well. The cables that we use in our machines are very durable and they last a long time. I have not found any problems with the product nor the company. This company comes highly recommended!

We love the company, we have been contracting with them for numerous years and we have the best peace of mind when contracting business. The cables are very sturdy and reliable when it comes to length and thickness. They have very high quality and low quality cables for certain structures. Very fair pricing.

Our company procured some cables from Anixter in the past, specifically surveillance cables for a wiring project for a small office. We were pleased with the selection and ended up getting our a/v cables there also. Their sales person was very knowledgeable even when we switched from product line to product line. We order our 120v power cords from Anixter. Every time we place an order there is never an issue with our order we always receive a quality and very important piece of our assembly. These power cords are used for life sustaining medical devices so they have to be of the highest quality and working standards.

For powering up our dialysis machines, we use Anixter power cord cables. Reliable and fast service from this vendor and always provide their products on time. However, the materials they used to build these cords aren't that strong because it is easy to get pinched and kinked in when we store it to our VLM storage towers.
