our company needed a new system to help us design some 3D models and our old system was starting to beomce obsolete for the type of work we wanted do. we reached out to autodesk off of a recommendation from one of our vendors and we currently use their 3Ds software which has integrated into our existing system beautifully. this particular software allow us to do comprehensive modeling, animation, and simulations. the tools this software provides is efficient and has really accelerated our performance and streamlined our work flow. the final products are very high resolution.

As we grew as a company we found the need to iterate more quickly and 3D modeling was one of the avenues we thought could help us in this respect. After meeting with approximately 5 companies we narrowed our selection down to Autodesk. Their sales agent were very knowledgeable and the tools themselves had the capabilities we were looking for without adding the complexity that we did not want. The learning curve as adequate and efficiency can be gained quickly. The customer service team has always been quickly available for questions. Would highly recommend looking at Autodesk for their services.

We use Autodesks Auuto Cad Design suite 3D solid modeling software at work. It is a very powerful but difficult to use solid modeling package. the digitizing scanned images feature is great and a big time saver. The software also does a great job at testing form fit and function variations. Overall, I like the software but I think Sold Works is better.

Strengths: Very powerful CAD and 3d modeling software, computer aided manufacturing, production line layout and simulation.

Needs to improve: Very expensive annual license fees

We have design classes that provide education and training to interns and students interested. Autodesk provides us with wonderful teaching tools to our clients as well as our lab techs. They're openness and willingness to help shape the future specialist in design has helped us gain a good foundation in educating those willing. Their software is great, but they're support is much better, more important and very valuable to us. Great foward thinking company.

we have one of Autodesk 3d modeling copiers in the R&D lab and that thing is amazing. its crazy how accurate the 3d models come out and how fast the machine works as well. the machine never jams not has it needed maintenance since we've had it. the price range is pretty steep but its worth every single penny.

we have one of their laser 3d copiers in the R&D lab that we use to made 3d models of prototypes and presentations. the copier is very reliable and is extremely accurate we've used it for years and this thing still amazes me.

Strengths: We used autocad software mainly for architectural office management to manage offices, buildings and square footage on the campus. As we put up walls and tear down walls and resize rooms, we utilize the system and am able to print updated floor plans for client rental of suites.

I've worked with a few of AutoDesk's products, which are some of the leading tools of its kind in the industry. Alias, Inventor, AutoCAD, Simulation- Great tools. Great customer service for help.

Strengths: Great Suite of software tools. Becoming more competitive in the marketplace.

I have used AutoCAD and Inventor in the past. AutoCAD is great at what it does, a powerful flexible 2D sketcher. Inventor falls a little short when compared to another very popular 3d modeling software.

Autodesk is a great software provider for 3d modeling. My company has been buying from them for a couple years and we are very satisfied with their quality products.

I've used Autodesk products primarily cad and inventor and they have both worked out good for me. I've use them to develop test fixtures.

Needs to improve: Difficult to navigate at times and very pricey

Overall Autodesk is a great company and continues to be the software I use for 3D CAD work. There capabilities are extensive.

Strengths: their software packages are well intgrated. some decent features in Inventor, though I am new to it. Autocad is a standard, but a bit behind the timse.

I used autocad mechanical at my previous job. If you need a software for designing this is for you.
