After our high speed lap camera went out, I found a compatible high speed, compatible camera by Cannon offer by B&H at a fraction of the price I paid for the Phantom camera. I was able to do a price comparison on their user-friendly website and contrast the features of similar cameras. I used B&H again to purchase multiple wide-frame lenses and a microscopic lens. One plus of B&H is that they stock items for a long time. For example, 2 years after I purchased the camera, B&H still offered replacement cables and batteries for that version camera. These camera are great for the lab. They also offer camera jackets to protect the lenses. I use them for heart valve imaging as well as general project imaging. The microscopic lenses are great for supplier trips to the OR capturing products in use. B&H always has the equipment I need for business when I need it. Be careful to make sure it says in-stock before purchasing though. Many of the items are on back order.

Strengths: B&H offers a wide variety of imaging equipment from multiple vendors including Nikon and Cannon. They also offer an assortment of accessories that have met every lab need we have required. The products are shipped with a couple days of purchase and are received quickly.

Needs to improve: Several of their items, while available for purchase, are on back order. Customer service consists of operators looking up item numbers for sales, not good if you need expert assistance to pick out the right equipment.

I use their camera daily to take photos of damaged machines that come into my lab from the field and I rely on the very much to get the job done and these cameras always impress me with their great resolution and efficiency. I will not use any other brand of camera on the job!
