With over 50,000 square feet of manufacturing facilities housing state-of-the-art equipment, we have the ability to meet all your spherical needs from prototype to millions in quantity.
At Bal-tec™, quality is of the utmost concern. We use the Talyrond System to measure sphericity of balls. The overall accuracy of this system is one-millionth of an inch. The size of balls is measured using a Heidenhain Certo 60 to an accuracy of 10-millionths of an inch and is calibrated using standards traceable to NIST. Most balls are produced to the Anti-Friction Bearing Manufacturers Association (A.F.B.M.A. Book 10), military specifications, or our customer's needs. Bal-tec™ stocks over 40,000 different sizes, grades and materials of balls.

We had tubing that had strict ID requirements, to test the ID we contracted Bal-tec to make a set of precision balls with piano wire to be able to drop the calibrated ball through the tubing. The sales/customer service person was one in the same. The quote listed a 4-week delivery time. This included 2 weeks to manufacture and 2 weeks to calibrate. 12 weeks later - there was still no product in hand and no follow-up the entire time. These balls were ~$1500 and we were getting no response from the company on where our product was. They finally showed up, but the piano wire was too short. We ended up going with a different vendor for all future orders.

Well this vendor Bal-tec is our vendor for a while now in our company for it's quality services that cannot provide us by other vendors. This vendor provide us quick and quality service of delivery as it goes on time without hassle. I can say that their services are exceptional and gives us satisfaction by their performance in their job! Their services are in cheap price and the quality isn't compromised. Total package definitely recommended to everybody!

Bal-tec has surprised us with their products. Our company contacted them to see if they are able to supply our special request. They went above and beyond when assisting us with our order. They were able to complete our order and the quality of the products were impeccable. Even though their website seems outdated, their customer service was wonderful and very knowledgeable. Their were able to help us when were were not able to find what we needed on their website. We will definitely come back to them.

We didn't ordered any special prototypes or had any balls manufactured by Bal-tec, we only order what was in stock for several experiments we had running. We needed materials in different shapes and sizes to test out the viscosity of some of the liquids we were working on. The R&D department wanted to find out the best formal for the liquids to produce a specific result. Bal-tec supplied us with what was needed. Large inventory

My company turned to Bal-tec when our regular vendors were not able to supply us with some special parts needed for a project we were working on for a client. Bal-tec was able to deliver what we needed and quickly. The whole process was smooth and in the end we were able to meet our deadlines. They gave accurate quotes and had good deals. We would definitely use this vendor again.

Reached out to Bal-tec for some machining of product components. We were satisfied with their performance as they overall delivered as promised on price and turn time. The qualify of the machining was also very good. As far as interacting with their employees as a whole, I found that their sales and customer service reps were always available to answer questions. Overall I would say thumbs up. I would consider them again for other jobs.

Doing business with Bal-tec has been a smooth ride, no up and downs. We have been ordering from them for years now, and no major issues has slowed us down in production. We order a lot of big balls if you know what im saying.
