BD is our hypodermic syringe vendor and we house all of the different sizes of syringes in our pharmacy for our patients. we also use their products for admministrating immunizations to our patients. their syringes are great quality, easy to use, and the imprints on the shaft is clear and easy to read. they also carry an entire selection of diabetic are supplies that our patients have been able to order through us for better pricing. all of their syringes have a needlestick prevention lock mechanism that retracts the needle once its been used. this provides a lot additional safety for our staff. while there are other more generic brands of hypodermic syringes we like the technology BD has put into their products and their BD luer-lok tip, slip-tip and eccentric tips offer an extra film of safety and peace of mind

After many orders with Becton I have had prompt deliver every single time. When I wanted to change an order when I mistakenly ordered an improper size I had no problems exchanging the items via customer service. Even the exchange was expedited without a headache. I am happy to use Becton as my main syringe supplier.

Strengths: Becton supplies our offices with high quality syringes at a very fair price. They have a good selection of the important sizes of syringes for both medical and dental uses in our office. Although rare, if there were any issues with our order they were very efficient in making the proper change for us whether it was quantity or size.

Needs to improve: I haven't come across a weakness for Becton.

my pharmacy orders from BD for all of our syringes we not only use in the pharmacy but also for our pts to purchase either in package of 10's or the entire box of 100. they have all the different sizes, gauges, needle length, and well syringes that measure by ML's as well as units for diabetic pts. good quality syringes.

I have only used syringes from there although they have other great product for medical field. The individual wrap syringes keep clean and sterile at all time and easy to carry them animal study trips. Although the pricing is a little high, we keep on ordering from them because of the quality

Becton Dickinson's Syringes are must have in out R&D lab. We like individual packages to bring them to animal studies. We use them for saline and other thicker solution injection and it holds pretty well for we need them to be.

We use BD syringes in our R&D lab and manufacturing floor to dispence various liquid coatings such as polyimide and uv adhesive. We have much more control over dispnsing than with a pneumatinc dispensing system and it is much cheaper.

You definitely want at least a dozen of these disposable Syringes. They are in their sterile plastic wrap and ready to put into any first aid kit you have assembled. Add 100cc Sterile water bottles and you have the perfect size wound wash kit.
