our pharmacy does a great deal of non-sterile compounds not for injection and we do have pharmaceutical waste. it is against the law to dispose of these waste products in the regular manner so we have contacted with bioclean to dispose of our medical and pharmaceutical waste for our compounding processes. this includes liquids, creams, gels, powders. they dispose of the waste in a bio friendly manner which is why we chose this company as our vendor.
