Caplugs

I've used Caplugs on numerous occasions for off the shelf caps and plugs. One of the great things about them is that they offer free samples. I have to admit, I have "abused" this when I needed just a few items. But when I was trying to determine the size needed or the type of cap, it was invaluable to be able to get samples of 10 different caps to try out and see which worked.

We needed to know the specific material used for the cap and they were happy to share with us the material spec which greatly helped.

Besides that, ordering process is straight forward. The deliveries have always been on time. Never a problem with working with them.

Strengths: Free samples and large selection. Most items for the caps and plugs were on the shelf and able to get without a wait. Didn't use their custom services so can't really comment on those. They were consistent and exceeded the tolerances on their drawlings.

Needs to improve: Limited interaction with Caplugs other than direct order, so can't really comment on any weaknesses.

We originally were looking for a company that could supply us with packaging material to protect out products during shipping. We didn't think that we needed any custom products, but during our search we came across Caplugs. In looking at their wide selection there were a few items that we thought could work, but were afraid of the cost. To our surprise many of their products were very reasonable and we were able to create custom netting that fit perfectly to out products and helped reduce incidences of customer unsatisfactory due to damage because of delivery. The money we saved more than made up for the cost of a custom design. Another plus was that because it was custom we were able to design something that looked professional and did not distract from the final product. Overall thumbs up to Caplugs.

Caplugs is a great vendor to work with for irregular packaging needs. One of our most popular products requires a irregular yet durable tube shaped packaging . From our past experience, other vendors were either too expensive for quality packaging, or the packaging quality was terrible. Caplugs is able to fit a need for this segment as they provide very very high quality tube packaging at very competitive prices. This is excellent news for us in a time of increasing production costs as we can save on cost of sales.

We have used caplugs for the medical device industry, specifically with medical tubing and custom molding of device parts. They have very fast turn around times and a good customer service group. The large selection of off the shelf products comes in handy during R&D development when I am unsure what will work in the final design. They provide the versatility of ordering large or small quantities.

Strengths: The medical device product services including custom molding of special parts, there is also a large variety of components such as plugs and seals, I also like to use their packaging tube supplies for small components for sterilization

Use Caplugs rubber components in our assemblies in our cabinets on the back panel hole / cutouts. They have a wide selection of components such as: caps, plugs, tubing, containers, vinyl parts, etc...Their customer service staff is very friendly, easy to work with, and very quick to respond to inquiries and provide us with quotes, technical data, samples and delivery schedules. The time spent on the phone or email is worth it as they are able to address all answers and concerns - great technical support.

This is a very good supplier for our caplug needs. We have several medical device equipment we manufacture that require the hole to be plugged. We always get the perfect fit plugs on all our requests. Very reliable and these little things are durable.
