Strengths: We use Carl Zeiss Optical Contura for our test, incoming inspection, and calibration process on our medical equipment. The instrument can no doubt handle precision work and performs routinely. Unfortunately, I'm not happy with their maintenance of the equipment. Also the cost is a bit high. On the last maintenance we heard some knocking noise on the probe head and they could not figure it out so they said not to worry about it until it gets to the point of not working. Really!! Then what is the purpose of preventive maintenance? Technical support could be better. Price is competitive. Quotes are accurate. Delivery is on time.

We use Carl Zeiss Optical in our R&D engineering department for our testing, incoming inspection, calibration process, evaluation on our medical equipment. Their microscopes can handle any job, they are very reliable and dependable. Unfortunately, I'm not happy with their maintenance of the equipment, it takes a lot of time, have to send back east, the cost is high. Their technical support could be better, with regards to operation and adjustemnt tricks.

We have purchased many scopes for our labs and manufacturing area. These are top quality scopes that can help our workers see and produce micro implants for medical devices. The labs have the smartzom scope product that they just rave about. It's very high quality digital scope that can bring any micro products to workable size.

We currently use Zeus microscopes on our assembly line and in our board test department fir inspection purposes. They are very durable and reliable which is why we prefer to use them on our assembly line. They are very easy to use and the magnification it produces is outstanding.

Strengths: They have some of the best well built microscopes on the market.

Needs to improve: They are pricy but you get what you pay for.

We must say that the quality and build of this lens is top notch. Wide selection of components needed for our job. We haven't had any problems with them, they were able to meet our delivery date. Customer service always works with you to satisfy your needs. We look forward in working with them again.

Strengths: We contract with this vendor for their lenses which we use to test the circuit boards on our medical devices at our facility. We buy in large quantity, at reasonable prices, and our deliveries are never late. A great vendor to do business with and their products are high in quality.

Just our dialysis cycler has about 7 different circuit boards, and each one needs to be tested and verified before production. We use Carl Zeiss's optical products to make sure without a doubt that our boards are world class quality. There hasn't been a problem yet

Carl zeiss provides my work with optical lenses and optical sensors for our pump assemblies. That essentially goes into our dialysis machines. I install them everyday so they're pretty efficient in quality wise. I've never had any issues with it. Easy to install and very effective part. Highly reliable through our testing process.

I use Carl zeiss microscopes at my work on the sub assembly station to inspect our critical components and parts to use for our medical devices. They rarely have any problems with the clarity specifications. The lenses are high quality and never an issue when using it.

All the Microscope that we use on the assembly lines and IQC are from Zeiss. Great Microscope with little o no trouble of using it. Occasionally, the light is burned out and we just get the spare parts for replacement.
