ClearBags

I've generally had positive experiences with ClearBags. I buy in volume and end up saving a lot, and their minimum quantities for discounted pricing is really fair. They usually get even my largest orders shipped out the next day.

I've had perhaps one snafu in the 3-4 years in working with them; I got shuffled around a little bit to get it taken care of, but ultimately it worked out without too much stress.

Overall, they are a really good, reliable company that takes care of all of my needs at good price points.

Strengths: Good, quality products (I use crystal clear flap seal bags, acid free backing boards, foam boards, and mailers), quick shipping, good customer service, and competitive pricing structure. Love their bulk pricing. Their website is easy to navigate and follows a logical flow.

Needs to improve: Shipping ends up being pricey, but they do send me shipments in excess of 100lbs.

Had an easy time going thru their site and picking out what type of bag I wanted for my products. we package candy and it looks a lot better when you can see thru the plastic bag like glass

Strengths: they have a great website where I've been and a huge selection of very super clear bags! its easy to order from their site and they have most items in stock and can ship out soon

Needs to improve: not too many issues. they have some minimums, so be ready to order at least 500 to 1000 of the items

We use clearbags zip lock polyethylene zip bags in the R&D lab to contain small components, and in the kan-ban bins in production. The bags are very durable and have a section that allows for labeling with a felt pen. They come in different colors which is great for part segregation.

Strengths: Clearbags makes boxes and packing materials. Their products include clear polyethylene zip bags in thicknesses from 2 to 6 mils in many sizes and configurations. The bags are high quality and very cost effective.

Needs to improve: None

I recommend Clearbags. Their products have archival features. Perfect for photographic-related companies.

Strengths: Customization is one of their strengths. They do carry stock products, but I needed a custom size plastic pouch for our photobooks. My rep was able to help generate mock-ups from me from China. The communication and overall handling of the product is good.

Needs to improve: Communication could be improved. There were are few surprises (i.e. I wasn't informed right away of changes to leadtime).

They go to most trade shows and have lots to offer, but pricing is on the high side.

Strengths: They have a good selection of stock and custom pouches. They have very clear PP and PE bags.

Needs to improve: Their pricing can be on the higher end. There bags are also imports
