Design Catapult

Do not use these people. They overcharged on hours, missed deliverables, lied, cheated, stole. Seriously one of the most dishonest design firms I have EVER worked worked. The pricing on their website does not match reality. The prototypes fell apart and were horribly made. They are not Mechanical Engineers or industrial designers. They give horrible design suggestions and terrible feedback. They don't follow any ISO standards. They left my company with a huge mess, big bills, and unuseable designs.

Design Catapult worked on one of our company's projects to create a rapid 3d prototype and they did a great job. We had the design of our device and to see a full scale model of it was very helpful in our assessment on whether or not to make any further adjustments. Although the pricing on going through this process can be costly, we think the long run benefits are worth it. The folks at Design Catapult were able to explain to us how they would create the model and what benefits we would be able to take away from it. It was a great experience for us and would take future projects to this vendor.

We've worked a few times with Design Catapult by outsourcing some of our overflow prototype work over to them. We want to concentrate our people on the products we feel will make the biggest impact, at the same time we don't want to let the others go to waste and this is where DC excels. They're always very professional and deliver exceptional work. Their prices are in line with others in the industry, but their customer service is great. We will continue to use them for our prototype design needs.

We subcontracted a design element to Design Catapult for a client prototype. We didn't have the resources to product a few key components and enlisted Design Catapult to step in. We were immediately impressed by their technical knowledge as they were able to provide schematics in a fairly short amount of time. Accurate costs and insightful solutions, combined with great customer service and lead time will keep us coming back for their services. Great team and great final product.

Many years ago, design catapult designed and manufactured components for a device we manufacture. Recently I worked with them to update / modify some of these parts. While it wasn't a significant change, they were very responsive and quickly implemented the changes. They worked with vendors to procure and blend materials to meet our Pantone requirements and we're able to turn around samples within days.

We have hired Design Catapult on a few occasions to design the prototype concept for a few of our products. Their staff is extremely experienced and capable and were able to efficiently provide a design schematics that fit our budget and our production capabilities. Customer service is excellent as they were very attentive to all of our input. Pricing is also competitive.
