our company uses document-center to monitor, audit, service our standards. when we need auditing services for our standards to make sure they are complete and correct, the auditing team will review our documents and they will give us a quote on the audit if anything is missing. they usually are able to give you the turnaround within a day depending on the submission time. it has helped us tremendously to rely on documentcenter to correct and fix our documents so we pass our certifications. we also use their monitoring service to maintain our standards once they are complete and correct. they have so many options for their monitoring service and the fees they charge depends on the kind of monitoring - all of which are reasonably priced. we have and are very satisfied with the results we get from their staff and it gives a a great piece of mind that our standards are in tip-top shape to pass certifications

my small business has gotten documents from Document-Center but this review is mainly about the other services they offer after you have gotten documents from them. Although some of the services have additional costs, they are very handy. we use their monitoring services for our collection - more specifically their regular notification service. They added our company to their mailing list and anytime there are changes to an item, we receive an email alert. whats great about this is there is no additional fee unless you want to add an additional item to the list, then there's a small fee. they offer other alert systems that alert you more often than a few times a month but for my firm, the almost bi-weekly alert is more than enough and its also free for a lifetime of the item.

Have used document center as a document control center wwhile working at a different company. We use iron mountain at my company now and i'd say these are competing companies. Document center provides a very similar service and I'd say they are a slightly smaller company then iron mountain and not as established. They still provide an excellent quality service but things move a little bit more slowly compared to iron mountain. I have no issues with reliability and their staff has always been nice and pleasant to work with. They are probably more suited for smaller companies that don't have as much data storage and volume coming into them. Still, great service and definitely needed and a vital component to any company out there.

The Document Center is a great place to go for standards: AAMI, ANSI, ASTM, ASME, BSI, DIN, IEC, IEEE, ISO, JEDEC, SAE, TAPP, TechAmerica, UL, DOD, etc... In addition to standards they offer other services, such as Auditing, Monitoring, Notification, Standards Alert, etc... They are a great place to go for anykind of standards that you can think off - and then some. They have a very intuitive search engine that makes finding the exact standard you need a breeze.

Needs to improve: There standards are expensive and the delivery can be lacking

The Document Center provides an extremely valuable service. Our doc control department exclusively uses them to provide all of our external standards ISO, ASTM, IEC, and AAMI. They have a very intuitive search engine that makes finding the exact standard you need a breeze.

Strengths: The document center provides standards and technical publications from almost every imaginable institution such as AAMI, ANSI, ASTM, ASME, BSI, DIN, IEC, IEEE, ISO, JEDEC, SAE, TAPP...etc. All of their documents are available for download and they have a subscription service to ensure that you always have the latest revision of the standards that you purchase.

Needs to improve: Very expensive

We have many important documents that go out through out the day and we have certain employees transfer those to other buildings so when we need more pouches to get the job done this is where we go .they hold a lot and really are convienant for our employees to get the job done they come in many different colors so everyone can tell which one belongs to what department .

Standards typically come in a timely manner, but sometimes when I'm working on a project and need to read a standard, wish more standards could be available instantly.

Strengths: Fairly good service for external standards.

Needs to improve: Have to wait for standards to come via email, but they typically arrive the same day. For some, electronic copies are not available. When standards change revisions, they do not always have the option of having the changes highlighted, this should be available on all standards for easy reference.

Document Center has been a great partner to work with. Their staff is always helpful and their quotes and turn times have been on the money. We contract them for design work for many of our product lines as well as printing services. Their cost is in line with others in the industry, but their attention to detail and customer service really sets them apart. Would highly recommend them for other to try out.

In the medical device industry, you are bound by a huge number of standards. Document Center can provide official copies of these standards nearly immediately, which can be critical when time is of the essence (and when isn't it?). They will also notify you when the standards are updated so that you know you are working from current versions.

We contracted Document Center to provide us with a wide variety of standard form documents for our business dealings. Their staff is extremely knowledgeable and customer service is very easy to reach. All of our questions were addressed immediately. They have a wide selection of availability and provide them quickly. Will continue to use, solid resource.

We've used DCI for international and national standards. They are fast and offer same day delivery. They also handle all of your requests well even if you have specific changes you want to make. Customer support is also helpful and fast.

We have contracted with Document Center for years now. Nothing but good vibes and business. The staff is very knowledgable and helpful. We never had major issues that slowed us down in production. We recommend to anyone that is in the business.

We've used DCI for international and national standards that we are required to keep on hand and updated by regulatory agencies. They usually have same day delivery via email. Reliable service provider with just about any standard that you may need. Customer service is knowledgeable and friendly.

as an engineer in med devices, document standards are part of our every day life. Document center carries just about every standard we work with (ISO, ASTM, AAMI, ASQ, ANSI, etc etc etc) which we are also required to have on-hand as part of our business/audits.

We have used this company on a few occasions for standards documentation for SARBOX and also lab and equipment standards when needed. No issues, got exactly what we needed for reasonable prices. Have only used on a few occasions but would definitely use again if needed.

What a great resource to have for standards. ASTM, ISO standards, MiL standards, are just some of the docs you will find them. It is true that is you look hard enough you can find these without them but its very nice to have them all in one place.

We use Document Center as the source for our controlled standards. They can usually email them over, although sometimes they can only offer paper copies so we have to make the drive. Service is great, price is a necessary evil for a regulated industry.
