Cellgro is a division of Corning and carries a variety of media, solutions, and reagents for tissue and cell culture applications. The most enticing part about Cellgro is that if you start a new account with them, they offer a program called “New Lab Startup” where they’ll send you $500 of free product when you purchase $500 of product from them. $500 isn’t going to get you everything for the lab, but it’s a nice perk that we used when we first furnished and stocked our lab at the new location. We had to work through the sales rep to get this promotion.

Needs to improve: I had to email back and forth a couple times with the accounts payable to setup an account, but since then, everything else has been smooth

We have worked with corning as everyone else has for their gorilla glass. great great great super strong materials, fairly good price despite having the market cornered. They always supply us with the glass quickly and on time, lately we've been experimenting with other similar products to build a higher end product but always go back to gorilla glass. Unless at a premium gorilla's the way to go. They helped to jumpstart this new sapphire push by being so awesome with gorilla glass. We're excited to see what's next, hoping corning ups their game.

DOW is a huge company with a huge amount of resources. We utilize them for packaging for our devices and they have probably been one of the most easiest companies to work with. They are willing to work with you to make custom products and always willing to help out and answer questions if you need them. Because of their big name status though, they tend to be more expensive then other vendors around. But for consistency, quality, and extremely high volume products, they are the best to go.

Corning has been a great company to partner with. When we ran into quality issues with the displays in one of our product lines we turned to Corning to product a display glass that would be rugged enough to withstand the use that consumers were putting our product though. Corning delivered with a cost effective solution that increase the quality and durability of our product. Our QA issues have been reduces greatly through this change. Their team is always great to work with and we will continue to use Corning where it makes sense for our products.

Strengths: We use this vendor for our plastic and foam packaging and wrapping, for our filtration products we manufacture. They are a great vendor, with high quality products that are durable, and hold up extremely well, their products are just what we need in our manufacturing facility. we use their adhesive on our pump doors, air bag assembly, and balloon valves on a daily basis and it holds very well . the adhesive is easy to apply and sticks almost instantly but just make sure you don't get this stuff on your hands or clothes because like I said "its sticky" and is hard to remove and also has a terrible stench to it. the pricing is fair and their shipments are on time as well. ENJOY

Our firm sourced Corning to produce some of our optical displays for our devices. We heard about Corning's reputation from various sources and needed something strong and reliable that would last on our products. After giving them a try, we are completely satisfied with the results. The displays are of high quality and sturdy. As our devices are uniquely shaped, we also needed them to create a custom size which they were able to do. Great quality and service will definitely have us coming back for more!

We use Dow Corning adhesive at work to fix and connect broken components such as small electronic parts. It's a good adhesive that makes a really strong bond on any type of surface. They have great deals that you can offer and have reliable shipping price.They are very quick to answer any questions and full of knowledge on their products. They are great vendor to work with.

we use their adhesives in the lab everyday to seal balloon valves, rubber covers, and our door vac on our dialysis machines and this adhesive is very good quality, when applied it seals and holds great even after years of application it can still hold 2800 mbar. A+

A huge company that surprisingly provides solid service in addition to their consistently high quality glass ware products. We have purchased several different types of optical displays from Corning in the past and have always been very satisfied. We worked with Dow on rural water filtration project in a foreign country. They were a very willing partner and took global water supply issues very seriously. Dow is so huge though, everything they do takes a long time for approvals and funding, etc..The system we developed with them never saw the light of day

This product is surprisingly dense and sticky compared to my experience with silicone grease. It is probably well-suited as an O-ring lubricant, but even better as a solution for heavy weight-bearing applications where the lubricant must remain in place for repetitive motion. Dow Corning has always provide excellent service and shipping is very reliable. Well recommended.
