we order all our supplies for flavoring medications from FLAVORx. they have any flavor combination you can think of and even flavors that may be more appealing to pets/animals such as beef/bacon flavoring. we order online for our individual flavoring bottles. the test tool they have is the recipe for how much flavoring to add depending on how much of the medication is being dispensed and the drug NDC. this system gives us the exact amount of each flavor to add and whether water needs to be subtracted from the conventional amount needed if the medication were not be flavored. this is a great tool provided by Flavorx.

for all pharmacys who offer the service to flavor pharmaceuticals/suspension/liquids, flavorx is one of the only companies that supply the ingredients/additives for these medications. they have huge inventory of flavors and provide a recipe for every combination you can time of. because they are one of the few companies that offer this service, their prices are somewhat expensive
