General Magnaplate Corp

I came to General Magnaplate looking for a coating on mandrels that required better durability and equal or better surface friction properties than PTFE/Teflon. They did have some coatings that i ended up using. They have an incredible array of different coatings with varying properties that i am sure you would be able to find one that would suit your needs. The services are a bit pricey, but you are talking about getting some literally space age processes for your components.

We approached Gen Mag to help coat some of our consumer products. We were looking to create a very slick surface for one of our products. We used their dry lube, super slippery coatings for one of our products and it was amazing. The item still held its integrity, was rock solid, held its shape and sleekness. Felt good in the hands and our consumers loved it. They liked how durable it was and how it stayed that way after many uses. Like the poang chair, durable.

We source many of our product coating from General Magnaplate Corp. Their specialized coatings and ability to manufacture coating to our specifications makes them a one stop shop for our needs. Working with them has been very easy as they are very knowledgeable and are able to understand our needs. Their service departments have been great at giving updates and making sure our product is delivered in a timely manner. We will continue to use them for our coating needs.
