Granite Rock

I have used granite rock products when we were redesigning the area around the pool where I work. We used Granite Rock after we decided they were the easiest to work with and had great prices. We then swiftly ordered from them, (which is incredibly easy to do) and soon had the new granite and other rocks to begin redesigning the pool deck area. Because Granite Rock gave us the order so quickly and at a great price, we were able to get the pool area back open to patrons much faster than we initially anticipated. I highly recommend them for bulk granite and rock purchases.

Needs to improve: Occasionally Unavailable

We maintain a contract with Granite Rock for will call pick up of crushed rock products and asphaltic concrete material. They are generally very easy to work with and have what we need. The plant managers and supervisors are really knowledgeable. The staff is sometimes hit or miss and can mis-load your trucks. Plants can be confusing to first time driver's

Strengths: Large nationwide base rock and asphalt supplier. Numerous local plants. Able to supply large amounts of base material. Great dedicated customer service reps. Will call pick up. wide range of materials.

Needs to improve: Pricey. Distance from job adds to cost. Asphalt prices dependent on oil price. Not standardized cost per unit by different plants

My construction team has ordered from Granite Rock several times, always a good experience, quality is real nice and easy to use. concrete is very easy to mix as well. I had ordered a big amount of products from them, they messed up on the shipment, but fixed it right away as soon as they were notified. Great staff.

Strengths: Great website and easy to navigate. Great high quality products, very close to the social media.

Needs to improve: a little pricey at times.
