use contact with Gulf medical to use their fiberoptics in the medical field ,more specifically we use GM as our vendor for the endoscopic light cords. their fibers are drawn inhouse so the quality is consistent and the light cords can be autoclaved for sterilization. the cords are also temperature xenon compatible. they offer a one year warranty for any new light cords purchased. they have a huge variety and combinations of light cord styles, lengths, reinforcements and end tips. somewhere upwards to almost 20k. their turnaround time is also very competitive and have never under performed

Gulf Medical products were of poor product quality based on prototype material evaluation. We had received some fiber optic raw fibers, however, the overall signal quality achieve from the fibers were not consistent for reliability purposes. We were disappointed and opted to look elsewhere.
