Hantel Technologies

Used to be reliable 3 or 4 years ago, but their quality and service has gone downhills quite rapidly over the last year or so. I am quite disappointed and can no longer recommend them.

They consistently failed to meet lead times and were outright hostile when we asked about it. Their customer service was rude and passive aggressive and they treated several of our team members who weren't native English speakers quite disrespectfully.

When asked if they would actually meet their lead times, they couldn't give a straight answer and gave us a runaround. This left us wondering if they just took our money with no intention of delivering our product. They finally delivered about a month late (Yes that's right, A MONTH) but at least it met specs.

Hantel used to be a good solution for us, however their services had degraded too much for us to be able to put up with anymore.

Strengths: They claim to be able to work with small batch orders. Delivered product met specs, when it actually arrived.

Needs to improve: Customer service, management and lead times.

We used them for a packaging project because of their initial quoted low cost and fast development time. The project hit numerous delays due to packaging failures, and their lack of expertise in packaging was apparent. I can't comment on their expertise in other disciplines, but I would not use them again for any future packaging projects.

Strengths: Hantel has a dedicated group of engineer(s) that they will assign to your project.

Needs to improve: Hantel is advertised as a turn key company, where they will design, manufacture, and package your product. They have their hands in too many disciplines, and are not focused enough in one particular discipline to be considered "experts" in that field. Their engineers are young and lack experience, but can make up for it with their dedication to the project. Their management team lacked leadership to oversee our project to keep it on track.

Do Not Do Business With This Company. As a former vendor of their's,THEY WILL NOT PAY YOU! They owe me 2k, and all I get are excuses. 'slipped through the cracks..AP person doesn't work here anymore...'

Used Hantel Technologies to develop several products for manufacturing, by using their expertise for machining to produce highly precision machined parts for our robotic equipment. Sometimes their lead-times are longer and their pricing is higher, but they have a great track record with producing high quality parts, which out ways the delivery issues. Furthermore, we rely on their Quality Department for our FAI, certs, and COCs and they are top notch. They are a great vendor to work with, always willing to go the extra distance and very responsive when there are issues with any part(s) being machined; i.e., changes and revisions to machined parts. They seem to be able to take our last minute changes and keep producing our parts per print.

You know when you go to a restaurant that has a huge menu at first you're excited so many choices. When you're finally able to pick something and then unless the restaurant has a huge staff, you have to wait and wait and wait till your food comes out. We think this is what's going on with Hantel. They have everything you need, all the resources you would want, however its so large that it takes a while to fullfill your needs. They might not have the staffing to handle everything, or a warehouse to store it all. Overall the products we get from them is good, but we'd prefer a better turn around time.

We contracted Hantel Technologies and at first was impressed by their eagerness an dedication for our project. Although we were satisfied in the beginning stages we were quickly faced with problems later down the road. Ultimately we did not think the end result was up to our high standards. We will sadly not contract them again in the future.

Strengths: Our R&D department use Hantel Technologies as a source for their prototypes. They are one of our vendors we use to assemble small parts for our medical equipment. We mainly use them for our prototyping projects. As they advertise they want to be your one stop shop contractor. I can only comment on the business that we give them which low volume and high mix assembly work. Thus far their quality has met and if not exceeded our expectations. Their technical assistance support were good and responsive. Their pricing is competitive and they have reliable services. Quotes are accurate and delivery on time is fair.

They had a real tough time with our project. I questioned the knowledge of the some (not all) the engineers on the project. They seem to have a lot of turnover which is often typical of design houses

Needs to improve: Over their heads on my project. Looked good on Solidworks but not on the bench

Verify whether Hantel can deliver to what they promise in a prompt manner.

Needs to improve: 1. Not enough resources allocated on a specific project. 2. Young engineers run the project, lack of experience often not only slows down the project but also increases the cost of the overall project. 3. Makes false commitments.

we contract out to Hantel the machining and fabrication products and while they have a good turnaround time and their team seems dedicated at making custom products and accommodating the needs of client needs, the end result of their products are not very durable and mediocre at best. Their customer service team has been very responsive to our company which is great but quality products is what will keep your clients and we just have not had great experience with this company regarding the results of their fabrication parts

We are a small start up and we use Hantel's clean room facilities. It is very convenient, for a daily rental fee, we have access to a full cleanroom area where we can assemble and package devices. If needed, they can also provide a generic quality system that will work for small start ups.

Strengths: Hantel provides clean room facilities and a quality system for small companies and start ups. In additon, they will do contract manufactuirng and product tresting.

Needs to improve: They are expensive and their customer service is not very responsive.

We used Hantel for some assembly work. They do offer many services but we had some issues with the product that we received. Very inconsistent from lot to lot. Customer service was ok but did not seem to go out of their way to make sure that we were happy. Sales was very persuasive but in the end we moved on to another contract manufacturer.

We were referred to Hantel as we were in need of contract manufacturing services. They provided quotes and project guidelines quickly and addressed all of questions immediately. While we didn't ultimately go with their services, we were happy with their correspondence, followup and expertise. We will continue to reach out should we need their services. We have contracted them for use of their clean room services and were not disappointed.

Needs to improve: High staff turnover makes continuity challenging. Miss deadlines with minimal, if any, communication. Quotes can be misleading.

Engineering strength is good. However, other functions are relatively pretty weak.

Our company used Hantel for some assembly work. Some of the products we received back were very inconsistent from lot to lot. Customer service was knowledgeable but didn't feel as though they wanted to help fix problems when then arose. They do have fast turn around time.

We have hired Hantel for consulting services on our assembly line in our warehouse. They are very knowledgeable and definitely added value by increasing efficiency for us with their engineers. I also like how their staff was very knowledgeable but not pushy on selling additional services.

Ive ordered from there a few times.there assembly kit is good works great and easy to use.customer service is great so nice and willing to help you with any questions you have.
