Hawk Ridge Systems

Have been using Hawk Ridge Systemto support our 3D CAD modeling Software -Solidworks. They provide yearly support through our yearly maintenance program. In addition, they provide excellent training classes throughout the year: Solidworks, begining & advanced, surfacing, pdm & enterprise, etc... They teachers are versed in the Solidworks software as a wide range of disciplines: mechanical, electrical engineering, software, etc... Since using them to train our engineers, designers, manufacturing engineers; we have improved our process development efficiency drastically and have saved a lot of time and money, by getting all departments on the same page. For a competent group of guys - you cannot go wrong with this group

Needs to improve: They are slow to give quotes, their internal phone support is a bit on the slow side - they don't always get back to you right away, training is suspect as we have had a few classes and the requirements are not always followed, so we don't get the information out of them as we are suppose to

we had a device we need rapid prototyping for and Hawk Ridge was the vendor we chose due to their 3D capabilities. what impressed us the most about their work was not only the quality but the fast turn around time and the professionalism of their engineers and designers. they kept us in communication throughout the entire prototyping process and even when we had last minute changes and design request, they were able to fulfill those request and still keep in withing our time frame and budget

I've taken both their basic solidworks class and surfacing class. They were very helpful and their books were easy to follow. Overall it was worth the time. I just wish their prices were cheaper.

Strengths: Very knowledgeable trainers. I enjoy going to their free night school classes they provide every once in a while.

Needs to improve: Cost for their classes is a bit high- they tend to price towards professionals coming from larger companies with bigger budgets to pay for these sorts of classes.

Strengths: We use are using Hawk Ridge Systems ProJet 5000 for our 3D Printing. The results of the manufacturer parts meets and exceeds our manufacturing specifications. The color of the results are amazing. The technical and customer support were very friendly and knowledgeable. Price is competitive. Delivery was on time. Their Field Engineer was dispatch to setup the machine and training was great.

We used Hawkridge to purchase our Solidworks and EPDM systems. They were very helpful in pricing and customization. Their application engineers are very helpful and know everything about the software. Help desk is very quick to respond and troubleshoot our issues.

Strengths: Very knowledgeable with the Solidworks products. Tech support is very responsive and helpful. Sales people are not pushy. They hold meetings to update users on new product and tips and tricks.

Needs to improve: none

An alternative to Go Engineer for the purchase of SolidWorks. They moved a little on price, but not too much. Since the software is the software, you should go for the lowest price or get them to cut a deal on training.

I took Hawkridge's Solidworks training along with several colleagues. Training occurred over several days. Easy to follow lessons with good instructors.

I later took their advanced course and I haven't looked back

I set up a Solidworks training with them, The training was OK with a focus on the PDM system, I would not say it was exceptional but it wasn't terrible either.

We purchased SolidWorks from Hawk Ridge. There was a bit of room to negotiate on the price, but nothing substantial.
