Interstate Batteries

I manage a contract for my department which requires the purchase of 200+ radio batteries per year. I have looked at OEM and aftermarket and Interstate Batteries was the best company I could find based upon price, selection, availability and customer service. I can order the batteries via our account or call up my customer service rep. Either way, I get the batteries fast and the order is complete. This is the way B to B work should be done.

Strengths: Great batteries for two way radios at a fraction of the cost of OEM new. Great customer service. Rapid order fulfillment. Contract management with Purchase Order payment. 30 days net billing. Assigned sales representative for geographical area. Decent warranty. Battery cases fit radio like they were new. Nationwide support

Needs to improve: Not OEM. Cannot verify individual cells are coming from reputable source

Great service and products

Strengths: We use Interstate batteries for both vehicle batteries and custom manufactured radio batteries. We have found them to be as reliable and long lasting as OEM supplied batteries at a much cheaper price point. They have a nationwide support network and quick turn-around. I recently contracted a 500 battery order which arrived next day delivery and no back-orders.
